Another fantastic transformation! The patio looks beautiful considering the damage to the stone.Your persistence definitely paid off. Your supervisor on this job is adorable. Great video!💝🇺🇸
Considering how it was from the start, that result is amazing. You’re dedication with the 5 applications is fantastic. Keep up the amazing work. Chris the Englishman in England.
Hey Bluebox, thanks a lot dude. Thanks too in regards to my back, just getting old and worn out bud. It comes and goes, but comes more often as the years roll by 😏 👍
Jaysus! I think you did a stellar job there man! Absolutely excellent altogether!! Seriously man, you should be very proud of yourself for this one! 👏 👏👏👏🙌
I'm a novice! Please tell me what is SH 50/50 ?? I need serious advice please. Small BBQ area slabs never been cleaned, also some in the garden. 15yrs ago Our builder who built arches at the front of our house, also used pieces of slabs instead of decorative stone. By the time we came over to Greece to inspect the build it was too late. Some of these slab pieces have gone black as we have a lot of humidity. We need to get these as clean as possible, as we've decided to paint all that is slab! There's no way a jet washer will get up a ladder to clean the arches, so any suggestions please? PS how was your back, after that?!
Hey Ashley, a huge thanks to a fellow UA-camr. Your comments much appreciated bud, as I know you've been there and done this, and actually know what you're talking about. Top man, cheers 👍
Well that was a pretty grim patio buddy, horrendous black spot like you said. Good job on the perseverance, sometimes the only way is to get the bucket and brush out and scrub away - did one similar last year and remember it took me 4 hand washes plus heat, customer said they never thought I'd get it clean. That came out well mate all things considered and looks totally transformed, great job mate! 👌
Best wishes on your back healing. Looking forward to seeing how much you can recover of the sandstone, beautiful stuff... Admirable persistence and improvement. That really sets off the home and yard now.
Like others have said, perseverance has been key here to an astonishing result and to the delight of your customer as well as those who have the pleasure of viewing your work on here. The difference before and after are just brilliant, well done 👍🏼 I did want to ask how you get the SH a little bit on the foamy side? Can you mix it with fairy or anything like that? Keep the videos coming 😅
Excellent Job Chris. Very well done without a doubt. Looks beautiful. It would have been very slippery with the green. Really appreciate your hard word. And you take pride in your hard work. That is Rare. Pride and dedication shows you enjoy your work that goes a long way. Respect Chris.
That’s a fantastic transformation 👌 bloody hard work brushing it in that many times, I’ve done it myself a couple of times and back breaking. Great work and good video. Thanks
impressive, could you pass on your chemical mixture .ive done a few industrial high pressure block drives .plain eater at sand blasting fine pressure.im looking now at hydrogen peroxide with baking soda mix .a appreciate reply .thank you
Came out 1st class Nick , I've had a few like this and there is a lot of job satisfaction doing sandstone in that state to begin with. Cherry on the cake is when there sealed they truly look amazing as u know. Top work as ever cheers M
Came out great compared to what you started with. If the customer still annoyed at the outcome, they can use a pumice stone and get some of those real bad spots out. Hand held plastic handle with a pumice stone is great on concrete and stone.
Amazing Muchacho, really great work…for your back: take gelatine, collagen and plenty fresh Vit C. I’m doing one slab at a time and sealing immediately after. I can fit in half hour here and there but to take on the whole job, never. Respect!
Great result considering how black some of the stones where!!! When you quoted did you think it would take 5 goes? It looked a small patio till you had to go over it about 7 times!!! Well done.
Thanks Ched 👍. Yeah, I had a feeling I was gonna be there longer than usual when I went to quote, looked more like black splodge than black spot, and that's never a good sign 👍
I loved the introduction, you spoke very naturally and the short way to do it suits you very well (you can leave the waterfall talk to Sid 😁). Get well soon! And use it as an excuse to enjoy some good massages 😉
5 times Nick? My goodness, you are absolutely amazing!! The reveal is spectacular, such lovely stones! So enjoyed this video Nick, great to watch your amazing videos......be well young man!!
You are so kind Nick, I wish I could express how much I appreciate your videos....have a family member who is dealing with a terrible cancer diagnosis and for a moment I can watch your videos and brings me a little peace. Thank you for that Nick, thank you 😊
Wow …you should feel very happy with the out come…considering how bad it was at the beginning you perseverance certainly paid off! Awesome job!👏🏻👏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕jane
Thanks Laura. Not silly at all, if you're not in the trade there's no reason for you to know that. I add a surfactant, www.bonnymans.co.uk/product-page/softwash-surfactant-bleach-safe-water-based-surfactant 👍
Don't feel bad for not getting everything, still great job! Blackspot evolved to survive even the harshest conditions. Sometimes it just refuses to die.
Because Monty miracle is a low strength patio cleaner meant for the domestic market and DIY’s. That wouldn’t touch black spot like this. And I’m almost certain that it’s just a weaker, watered down version of what I’m using here
Amazing hard work. What a beautiful result. Loved watching. My side of the house is black and used Elbow Grease spray. Left it on for half hour and scrubbed most of it off. Couldn't believe it. Did another spray and scrubbed. Took me half hr to do 3 slabs lol so give up on the rest.😢
Damn .... you worked a little with these 5 applications. It looks great. Do you charge an additional fee from customers for so many applications or is it already agreed with the customer when quoting?
Awesome video! Does the 50/50 SH/water mix damage and/or kill grass? That’s my only hesitation using it but definitely want to try it for patio and driveway cleaning
This was done using neat 15% bud. It won't harm the grass if you heavily saturate the grass with water pre and post treatment. Without the soaking before and after applying the hypo, then yes you'll definitely cause harm, hope that helps 👍
Yes thank you I know that. Each application will have a 15-20 minute dwell time, which is the optimum amount of time before the SH starts to lose its strength. The dwell time was mentioned in the video. The sped up video is not to be taken literally.
Very nice job mate wow 5 times over it but look at the result am sure the customer was very very pleased with it have you tried leaving it on there for longer then mayb you may of only had to go over it 3 maybe 4 times.
Great job. I'm currently doing a patio renovation on very similar Indian stone and it is covered in black spot. What us the product you found to be effective in removing it please?

Thanks very much Kimberly, how kind of you to say 😊. 🐶
That's a pretty powerful before/after montage for only getting it 95% clean - looks terrific!!!
Many thanks Chris 👍
Beautifully done. Love the Indian sandstone. You nailed it. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much, so kind 😊
Considering how it was from the start, that result is amazing. You’re dedication with the 5 applications is fantastic. Keep up the amazing work. Chris the Englishman in England.
Hey Chris, thanks very much. Really appreciate the great feedback and kind words. ✊👍
I couldn't agree with you more Chris!!
Looks great , I have a similar patio with great amounts of black spot - will the chemicals used kill my grass and plants as no way to isolate😢
@@johnpidgeon9521 Good question.
You looked like a Jedi at the beginning carrying Jack Bauer’s bag!! 🤣 Definitely a dangerous combination. Needed some mind tricks on that black spot.
🤣🤣 awesome, love it.
Crazy about the change. It looks so good now. That is dedication.
That was BAD!! Huge improvement from how it was initially. 🙌🏻
Nice one Neil, top bloke ✊
Gorgeous result Nick, you are determined to beat that black spot every time.
What a massive diffrence. I applaud your patience level. 5 times SH......😅 You are a PRO.

Hi, from here amzn.to/3awovCQ
Well done. May i ask what is SH means?
Hi Abu, thanks very much 🙂. SH stands for sodium hypochlorite, aka hypo, 👍.

Wow that was some nasty black spot & rust. You worked hard and did an amazing job.
Thanks so much, what a great compliment 😊
I'd be worried what it might do to the stone, but to get at least the worst of the rust-crust off, I'd have probably gone at it with a Brillo pad.
Brillo pads are underappreciated. 🤗

Amazing job as usual pity they didn’t seal the sandstone when it was laid to make it less porous and easier to clean

Thanks Laura. Not silly at all, if you're not in the trade there's no reason for you to know that. I add a surfactant, www.bonnymans.co.uk/product-page/softwash-surfactant-bleach-safe-water-based-surfactant 👍

Hey Sid, nice one dude. ✊👊
Great video. Did you use the SH neat, or did you dilute it at all? Did you add anything to it to make it foam up like that? Thanks,
What is this SH that you’re both talking about?
Don't feel bad for not getting everything, still great job! Blackspot evolved to survive even the harshest conditions. Sometimes it just refuses to die.
Nice one mate, appreciate that dude ✊
Good result but why not just use Monty Miracle. Great product. I use it once a year. Great for black spots.
Because Monty miracle is a low strength patio cleaner meant for the domestic market and DIY’s. That wouldn’t touch black spot like this. And I’m almost certain that it’s just a weaker, watered down version of what I’m using here

by the way.i noticed that the pressure vibration of the water gives me shoulder and back ache for a day or too afer. not resolvrd that .
Wow I can’t believe you managed thru hard work to get that black spot off. Patio looks amazing. Another job well done
Customers water or do you have water tank?
Did you put anything down after to help stop it coming back?
There's nothing you can do about it coming back, you can't stop mother nature
I bought some second hand pavers which have black spot, and some rust stains . What product would you (anyone) recommend?
Amazing hard work. What a beautiful result. Loved watching. My side of the house is black and used Elbow Grease spray. Left it on for half hour and scrubbed most of it off. Couldn't believe it. Did another spray and scrubbed. Took me half hr to do 3 slabs lol so give up on the rest.😢
