It takes an incredible amount of technique to play, sing, and teach at the same time. Warren has been my teacher on UA-cam for about 7 years. He's one of the best out there!

Let’s go!
The Blues
it's been a while and I might make some mistakes here but when you use the 5 for passing then extend to something else. Where do you stop?
If you add a pass note between, then extend it where are we going per se? When do we go back to the main chord progression? I feel like I would get lost like detouring and getting lost. If you don't mind entertaining my question.
First you have to know what passing chit technique you’re implement. In this video I predominantly focused on one technique, the Chromatic Dominant. However, there are many types of passing chords and they all have rules about how they should resolve. Once you know the rule for each, then you don’t get lost.
Check out this video where I cover 7 types of passing chords: ua-cam.com/video/qdWBOFW2xDA/v-deo.htmlsi=x5vhJPfKwujyavPQ
Guys he's enjoying himself 😭😭
Hello Mr Warren. When you use passing chords in a chromatic passing, do you follow a particular scale? If yes which one. Thx
No, because it’s chromatic
Mr warren in the video you are playing key G but on my piano its on F and yet the transpose is on 0 what could be the problem.
Bravo ! 11:04 (To study later haha)
1. Did you invent the term chromatic slide🛝?
2. Can you apply these principles to hymns and other genres?
Hmmmm I think I may be the first to say chromatic slide lol. That can be used on any style - but know it’s gonna make that style sound more gospel/blues.
