Thanks for having me over Simon, it was great fun. I was beaten by the better man this time, but I will be back leaner and meaner in the spring for round 2, bring it on! 😁👍
Another great video Simon and good to meet John. Been to his channel and subscribed and he has some impressive images. Look forward to the next "Trap-off" between you both. 👍
That was different. Nice one. I found it funny you with all your waterproof cold weather gear on and John in a jumper. Lol. You're going to have to harden up Simon. Lol😂. It can get tough in them hill's. But on a serious note, Nice bit of entertaining video. All the best, Mike E...
Nice video! I love the work of John and follow him for a longer period already. An important factor, next to getting everything to work, is to find a spot where the animals come regularly in a nice setting. Backgrounds should be clean and foreground preferably also.
Found John’s channel a while ago, what a really nice gentleman and so very skilled at what he does. The results he gets (and the patience he shows) are exceptional. Super glad you’ve got together, should be very productive for the two of you 👍. PS, The weather must be a bit sharp, the Welshman John had to put his big jumper on, brilliant!!!😂
What a surprise! I've been following you both for a while and I didn't expect to see you together. What a surprise! I loved seeing you both side by side. Congratulations! Greetings from Spain.😊😊
I did enjoy the video with you and John. Gives me something to think about doing this winter. There was a skim of ice on our birdbaths this morning and with a bit of wind it felt a lot colder than that. But no snow yet. Thanks for another entertaining and informative program, Simon.
Hi, love from Montreal! My gmaw came to Hlx b4 the titanic, I'm a chick forest technician from Montreal, majored in Sylviculture, I'm into rewilding, wonderful stuff!❤
Good luck sending it to Canada 🇨🇦! We's on strike! Gonna be the nail in the coffin ⚰ for Canada Post 📫! Hubby's cuz sends a Heritage Castles of Scotland calendar Foundation, very nice, she's in Carradale, I've been 3 times, amazing place, gonna look better with native trees though, my daughter's off to Bali for Xmas with him and his family, gotta stop in London first, nice weather, no wonder Bali looks good! You 2 make a grand couple, very down to earth, my daughter's a biologist and my son's an arborist, great vid thanks, Josée (Josie)...
Ah the grey squirrel, they're yanks, Chuck's favorite, r u aware of P'Nuts past plight? They're numerous here, couldn't make it in deep woods (Montreal's an island) the Cdn chipmunk is a ground squirrel which hinernates, yank's not too bright, his nest is high in a tree and the Quebec winter wind does blow! They don't carry rabies though and our racoons are immumized against, have a nice week!
🤔……I think you got blagged on this one John……….definately local knowledge was the deciding factor😂 - those images from Johns previous work were amazing, definately a wonderful way of getting up close but the trouble with trail cam work is that you really need ‘permissions’ to minimise the risk of loosing expensive gear. Looking forward to round 2 - maybe next time John spends a couple of hours scoping out the 3 acres & has first pick afterwards👍🤛
So Simon, get ahead of the curve and start making digital calendars/apps. When the month changes, your image (screensaver) will change. It will link to an interactive date calendar. No shipping is required!
