One thing is following the flow with cars and crossings; it's another when you do reckless nonsense like what we see at 3:40 in the video. That has nothing to do with riding etiquette-it's just being a moron.
Beautiful ride and glad to see you could enjoy Paris! However the guy with the red bike truly rides like an a**hole. Putting himself and others in danger like this doesn’t make him look as cool as he might think.
I ride fixed gear as part of my mindfullness practise, and always try to ride compassionately with all other road users. There is a flow to it, even if it is sometimes dangerous and on the edge. Your videos, and the riders you showcase, normally capture that. But the guy on red, bike he's going to end up hurt bad, or worse, hurting someone else. Paris beautiful, and the dark haired rider on orange bike had some nice street moves.
Riding like axxholes. Especially the guy on the red bike. No respect for pedestrians or other road users. Very selfish and arrogant riding, which is a shame because they are obviously very good riders. One day they will get knocked off or cause serious injury to somebody else. Not cool.
Appreciate the skills, but I ride in the same city and the way you are riding is very dangerous for others around you. There were multiple instances of that in the video as well. Other than the temporary potential damage, there's a long term impact of these things. People don't respect cyclists as much and don't give them enough space on the roads or honk at them, because people in general tend to pigeon hole and hence direct their anger for one cyclist on another. That might lead to future accidents for cyclists whom you'll never know or see as a person. Maybe there are safer places to practice your passion?
yeah but this is Paris, they did a lot in the last couple of years. i just was in NYC and technically there is better bike infrastructure than in Germany. Only problem in NYC is that everyone walks, rides, drives like they are alone.
This video is chaos. I dont even know what is happening bc there are bikes where cars are and people running down between what I think are bike lanes that flow in the opposite direction. Then people are riding in both going the same direction? The hell is happening here 😐

Absolutely. At 17:00 I thought ah, at last the cops are going to pull them out and confiscate their bikes but, alas...
3:40 Red bike boy is the poster child of someone riding above their abilities lmao
I feel the opposite way, he just needed to wake up a bit
some really unecessary danger beeing on the wrong side lane... its cool to be in the flow but yeahh common
Being on camera makes some people try too hard

they really well represent two different archetypes of riders
you keep getting better at this shit
I've been using an audio plugin called Crumblepop which is good at removing wind noise
I had to watch it on mute, haha
@@AlexHodgins wind is the best part tho if you watch these on a trainer indoors haha
Guy on red bike has negative aura. Absolutely trash lines

First time hear riding fixie as mindfulness practice

hey, do would think that it could be possible to keep track of the speed? would be nice to know how fast is the ride!
not that fast, maybe around 25kmh and up to 40kmh at the end probably
bro not that fast do you ever drove a bike at 40 in traffic thats way faster than cars most of the time go in paris
@@asgobol3730 kmh not mph
@@roidublabla yeah I know kmh do you ever drove 40 kmh in traffic
@@asgobol3730 if you don't it's because you're not fit enough sorry man, and i'm not talking about average speed, i said up to 40kmh
Following Paris's Fixed Gear scene should be the title, there's much more in France than that
“Find what you love and let it kill you” type shit. Another awesome video.
Depuis le temps que je te suis ça fait plaisir de te voir sur Paris
more sick videos from the master
Cool riding, amaizing places, terrible sound. Tnx!

Hey Terry, GoPro's Tiny 4K Camera Hits Global Shelves at $199 MSRP. Did you already had the Chance to test it?
part of this video is using the mini
Amazing city, amazing skills, amazing photography 💪💪💪
@3:40 - not cool man!
Damn you can really tell from this video vs a NY/LA video that its soooo much easier to get around via bike in europe
yeah but this is Paris, they did a lot in the last couple of years. i just was in NYC and technically there is better bike infrastructure than in Germany. Only problem in NYC is that everyone walks, rides, drives like they are alone.
@@Flako-dd the common american driving culture also is a problem. They will kill a pedestrian/cyclist just because they had the “right of way”
Not in Italy tho xddd 😢 at least in Milan we have shitty cracked tiny roads and no rooms for cycling (comparing to other countries
nice editing, uncle.
Thanks!
Terry bro, you have the coolest job man
would like to go to Paris and walk around stoned out of my gourd. what a beautiful city.
Now why does that guy on the orange bike ride on one wheel half of the time when he has two?
how wide does the riser bar he used ?
Song name please🙏

Damn I thought fixed gear went out of style 8 years ago but y'all are stiil out there being the biggest assholes congrats!
at just under 3 min, those bollards down the center made for some tight times. amazing content, thanks!
I would love to see a video of some german city and 90% comments complaining about the rule breaking
Impossible in Germany. People aren't as tolerant and cars go faster.
@@markkubsch1257 nah its possible in the big citys at rush hour
you should get in touch with samuel black metal rider on strava. Fixed Gear scene is way nore than that.

3:40 yooo
Je reste sans voix devant tant de …

These guys have skills, for sure, but I don't like this wheelie stuff.
I prefer riders from the older videos like Cooper, Mario, Jason...
that city looks like a boring video game from 2004
I can't do wind noise dude. It's damn near 2025 and you still don't have that figured out?
Good luck on your journey

It's all good, but reverse driving is unacceptable.😊
