The keeper slot bezel falls off after a few days.I own 2 pairs and both did this.Costa wants me to send frame and within 4 weeks they send a new frame. Not doing that they need to just ship bezels..You can put a drop of glue on them to prevent this..277 bucks ×2 pairs and both are missing a bezel now..Come on Costa you can do better.
I’m still confused about the sizing. Costa website lists the Fantail Peo as medium fir and the Blackfin pro as wide fit but they list the widths as the same. The lenses are the same size. The only difference I see is the temples on the Blackfin Pro are wider. Please advise. Also I’m interested because it looks like the Fantail Pro doesn’t have as much hook to the temple which I was never a fan of . Cheers
Do you have a pair of Costas already that fit well? I have Reeftons that fit 100% perfect nothing fits better. But I bought the Blackfin Pros and they fit almost just as good just not as tall. IIRC the Fantail PRO also has the hook at the temple ends
@@flogrown941 I have the standard Fantail which fits well but I never liked the severely hooked temple. The Pro has a straighter temple and a hole for a keeper (this is actually rather important to me) so that in addition to the bit of extra coverage is why I’m thinking of upgrading. I’m a long way from a Bass Pro or boating type store to try them on and compare otherwise that would be the best option. My main confusion is that in Costas website both the Fantail pro and Blackfin pro models show the same measurements and the only difference I see is the Blackfin has a wider temple. The old Blackfin and Fantail models definitely were not the same. Thanks for input Cheers
@@tomdavis3038 if you like the regular Fantail, I’d say go with the Fantail Pros. I’ve had fantails before, and IMO the fantail pros fit just slightly bigger height wise than the regular fantails.
They hurt my head above my ears. I have the original fantails and they’ve been wonderful but I’m trying to get used to the fantail pros. Like I said they hurt above my ears
Can you guys do a review on the reefton pro
Hey SportRx, and chance u have TOTAL weight of the Reefton PRO with glass?! I can't find the info anywhere!
These are really nice and expensive but they look cheap as all get out , oh well I still really like them

Hey Jared! If you take the frames to a local optician they may be able to gently heat the temples to loosen some of the pressure above your ears.
