Your music takes me places even though I've listened to the previous version before. The melody compliments the lyrics perfectly and the music, I can't even begin to explain how it just stirs these deep feelings inside. Cheers for sharing this Mitchel, sound more refined somehow, and I originally thought the first version was mixed perfectly! Both great. Obviously the vocals are flawless but I REALLY love that 12 string-sounding riff every time I hear it!
Thanks for the kind words Luke! I spent almost a year working on my new album and Rivers Of Ice had to be a part of it. During that time my mixing skills improved a lot so I had to do this song justice by remixing it from scratch and it's a night and day difference to my ears :)
