The number of people who confuse "brake" and "break" truly astounds me.
Almost as bad a "wreckless" vs. "reckless" on these vids.
Time for an old standby... "Let's eat, Grandma!" is *not* the same as *"Let's eat Grandma."* I also saw a comic strip where someone decided to fix a car permanently by removing the *"breaks"* from it. She removed the *brake line.*
Give them a brake, not everyone isn't fluent in Englisch
It's Americans for you...
Hey I just learned a few days ago on cars it's spelled 'grille' and not 'grill'
English sucks and has multiple spellings for the same sounding words, not everyone remembers the correct spelling every time
2:30 I don't understand this. If you put yourself behind the wheel of a car and cause an accident without a license or good insurance, you should go to jail.
he ran from the cops to being a suspended licience you can see the cop car chasing him with its lights on exactly what scum do when they think their beyond the law 2:07

@7:38 And the legends say that he is still driving backward across the country to this day.
In the clip at 2:36 - fucking answer the little girl asking “are we ok?”
She wasn't very scared at first, but the longer they ignored her the more scared she became.
All she wanted was a little reassurance and they couldn't take a few seconds to give it to her.
Not that deep
Maybe they were not OK? Did you think of that?
@bagheerab278, it doesn't matter whether the parents were alright or not, they still should have comforted their child.
@@mikesmith-po8nd
I think what he means is that they were too stunned to think straight and do what seems obvious to you and I behind the safety of our keyboards - which is answer the child.
The clip started at 2:35. Hit was at 2:42. Clip ended at 3:19.
I'm sure they did start to comfort the child, but the 36 seconds of post crash video doesn't reflect that.
Doesn't mean they never attended to her.
Relax.
In the clip at 2:38 that poor baby asking if you're okay
I hate how no one answered her so she had to keep asking
@@Meep-ei2qu I agree, but at the same time everyone was probably rightfully in shock and trying to find the right thing to do/say.
Yeah, pretty much. Some drivers seem to guard their right of way so zealously as to cause the exact accident it's meant to prevent. Right of way isn't a privilege, but a safety feature. Ignoring it is just as bad as charging other drivers to keep it.
1:04 - here's what I see: the cammer is frustrated about many things in life, including not being able to change lanes whenever he wants. Mad at everyone and everything in the universe, he watches with glee as an innocent driver is t-boned, thinking somehow that he just witnessed karma. No, dude, you watched a clueless driver pull out blindly into traffic, causing an accident. The driver you seem to think was in YOUR spot on YOUR road when YOU wanted it did nothing wrong - neither to you or the car that caused the collision.
That car literally saved *him* from being the one in the crash, but he's too big of a hothead to see it.
Yeah, I did not understand why he was so pissed off about not being able to make a lane change. And then to be happy a crash occurred is just nuts.
Same thought. What did he want the other car to do fully stop to let him go around other vehicles. The entitlement😅.
And then he proceeds to speed at least 20 mph over the limit!
Definitely a ram driver
7:40 This clip just gets weirder and weirder.
it was opposite day for them
Tenet 2
Definition of "never let them know your next move" 😂
I laughed so hard I don't even know why
It was so ridiculous that I couldn't help but laugh at the end
8:06 I've said it before, and I'll say it again. When you're traveling in a clear lane bedside one that is not moving or is slow/backed up: SLOW DOWN and assume someone is going to pull out. Should they? No. Should you be prepared for it? Yes.
The dude was driving a huge pick up with a train horn he installed and you expect HIM to slow down? Idk bro. Idk about that one forreal. I think the size of his car lets him do whatever he wants!
6:32
That reaction was so unnecessary. Why did you pick up speed? She had a turn signal on. No, it doesn’t give her the right of way but was completely unnecessary to honk.
"This accident was caused by an unlicensed driver. Furthermore the driver did not have a license."
🤔🥱
Maybe Furthermore was the driver's name.🙂
Additionally, the driver was not licensed.
😁
For once it's the Spanish speaker that is the one hit by the unlicensed driver...
...peat and repeat...
10:47 You are 1/3 correct, it's neither unidentified nor flying, but it is indeed an object.
I guess it is an ISO, identified sitting object.
9:16 has the right idea. Look at other drivers' behaviour and you'll often spot the ones that "don't feel right". Makes it much easier to respond when they inevitably do something stupid. And if that feeling turns out to be wrong? Well, no harm done. Better to be aware than not. The PoV driver was already keeping an eye on the white truck, so their reaction was near-instant. Compared to so many of these clips, this is textbook. Nicely done.
12:25 That last honk was totally unnecessary. Horn is to warn, not to scorn.
11:23 so the ambulance is at fault, right? the car had a green light and the ambulance didn't have the siren on, so how was he supposed to know to stop for an ambulance going through a red?
You still need to look left snd right when crossing intersection even though it's Green for you. Ambulance don't have sirens continuously on when a patient is inside because it causes the patient distress. They only turn it back on to cut through traffic. If it's empty roads, they don't put siren on as shown in that clip.
Clearing things up, ive been a medic for the better part of a decade. Yes the ambulance is at fault. 1, lights and sirens are to be used simultaneously when driving emergency. Yes, sometimes ambulances drive lights-only, but usually that’s late at night through residential s with no other traffic around to be courteous to residents.
2, yes the ambulance is at fault. During emergency driving, we are taught to always come to a complete stop at all stop signs and red lights, make sure traffic is clear lane-by-lane before continuing through. It’s not the responsibility of the car driver to check an intersection which he has a green light for
@tC2010vvti, you did well with that reply.
I just wanted to add that occasionally the siren is upsetting the patient and it's not used, but that doesn't relieve the ambulance from using due care.
That didn't make sense, here every emergency vehicle has a remote to turn the light green for them. Not sure why they don't have that/didnt use it
@CyanideCarrot
1) it's expensive and not every department can afford it, and not every city can afford to retrofit their traffic lights.
2) too many people cheat the traffic lights with bootleg devices.
7:25 dude made a right turn revered and started driving down the street LMAO
"oh, my forward gears failed? no problem reverse is perfectly fine"
5:10 never take that chance, no matter how long you've been driving and it doesn't matter if you feel tired or not. Fatigue always wins if you're on the road for many hours. Always make a stop to refuel yourself and get some R&R.
5:00 If the commentary is completely accurate, then the cammer should seriously consider seeing his doctor. He may have suffered some type of medical episode. It's not normal to go straight from fully awake to asleep without any drowsiness.
Agreed. Hopefully he paid his doctor a visit after that. Absolutely impressive recovery though tbh.
He said he was exhausted so he probably wasn't fully awake in the first place. Just running on fumes.
He's probably just overstating/overestimating his level of "awakeness". He was likely more tired than he realized.
He sounds like the person who had a few drinks but thinks he's okay to drive. Your brain can mask your body's symptom. I hope he never drives like that again.

9:51 Tanker crashes are legitimately terrifying because you have NO IDEA if that thing's going to explode.
Wow reading this comment you would think there was some crazy accident. Instead it is the end of the trailer smacking a car.
@@hi-iq7zdd I agree with the original comment. It was still an accident, could have been worse. We've all seen those tankers overturn and explode burning up the road and sometimes an overpass. They make a grand mess.

2:24 absolutely terrifying, genuinely surprised everyone survived that intense of a crash
And love how everyone stopped to check on the cammer. 🤦🏼♀️ Seriously, folks! If an accident happens in front of you, stop and help! Good grief.
0:34 excellent reaction time by cam car. Remember, it doesn’t matter if you have the right of way, always yield to idiots. It’s not worth your life or the trouble
4:10 if the cammer is searching for affirmation that he wasn't in the wrong, he won't find it here. The accident was his fault, regardless of the idiocy of the other driver.
Yeah he had plenty of time to brake and was following too close behind a car with their brake lights on
i mean they sounded apologetic in the clip description, but damn srsly who full stops at a merge 😭 if ur scared, dont drive onto the freeway/interstate *shrugs* bro def had time to stop though
Nah I think it’s 50/50 that driver should never have stopped in the first place
@tsundear1731 yeah they never should have stopped and it was really dumb of them to do that but that never justifies not having enough room to stop in front of you, meaning that the actual crash should be responsibility of the cammers car
@@tsundear1731 Wrong. You don't get to crash into someone just because you think (even if rightly) that the other driver is incorrect. If they're in front of you, it is still your duty to not hit them. You will be 100% at fault every time unless you can prove it was a case of brake-checking to a traffic court.
7:40 I can't stop laughing lol
A lot of cammers don't know how to slow tf down it seems
Very specific.
8:16 The roads aren't all yours. Think emphatically a bit and just look at the line on the other side. You are saving hours of people's time and preventing potential traffic queues just by sacrificing seconds of yours.
Edit: That was an illegal turn though lol
That illegal turn was where I was going to go.
What is illegal about the turn?
Is it illegal though? I guess it's technically since it's a double yellow? But people do that all the time, cops never enforce it and honestly half the time the city just doesn't bother trying to paint line breaks where they should. If you refuse to cross a yellow line ever, you're going to get stuck a lot while driving
@@reverseplant5834 Nothing illegal about the turn. Because it was a double yellow line? You are allowed to make a left turn across a double yellow line.
Turning left over a double yellow into a driveway or other valid driving surface where there is not a marked break in the line is *not* illegal, ffs. What do you want people who live on secluded backroads to do, drive 3 or 5 or however many miles to the next street to turn around and double back? It is illegal to *pass* on those roads, not to turn left.
Also, be predictable, not nice. Nice is unpredictable and unpredictable creates crashes. Left turns yield for a reason.
1:27 Dude, that driver saved you from being the one in the crash, but of course, that flies over your head.
I'm sure the other driver sacrificed himself to save the dashcam vehicle. What a hero.
If you think those were the intentions of the driver then you are delusional and need your license revoked.
@@breadboy193 Nobody said it was the intention of the other driver. It's more of a "His actions stopped you from getting hit, so isn't that cool for you, at least, now that you're not hit?" type of scenario. Not all things that annoy people are bad for them.
@@101Volts Yeah, I don't understand the two comments before yours. If the cammer went into the left lane going the speed he was going, he would've got t-boned instead. I guess people aren't as bright.
I keep telling people it's cheaper to miss an exit than to try and go for it
To say that someone "deserved" to be in a car accident is sad and asinine.
ngl i hate that cutting through multiple lanes of a roundabout in a straight line is technically allowed. it's not even saving time, it's just creating an opportunity for misunderstanding when people think you're gonna keep going around the circle lol
I've taken multiple trips around a round-about rather than try to "win" a right-of-way battle with people who don't get it.
Where I'm from, we're taught to keep a left turn indicator while in the roundabout, and stop it only when exiting. I've taken to indicating "right" when I'm about to exit. It's not necessary, but it broadcasts my intentions to everyone in an unambiguous manner.
at 4:10 I saw the intersection and was like "Oh shit, I know where that is, I drive there sometimes!" lol
4:20 bro GO omg 😭 who full stops at a merge like that???
More than you expect
@vickiweber4718 since this comment, ive witnessed someone full stop in the middle of the highway for a car who had a yield sign. my brain was fried afterwards, i could not understand WHY THEY WOULD DO THAT (im a fairly new driver so these things do still shock me 😅)
Why are people so baffled by this? I'm not saying this exactly instance and they could have pulled up further, but what are you supposed to do if no one is letting you over? Drive in to a car going 60+mph and hope people move out of the way? Especially if you're getting off a slow exit and can't get up to speed that quickly.
To avoid a collision with ongoing traffic? What was the white car supposed to do? Just merge and take the t-bone?
The idiot cammer from the 12:18 clip doesn't know how to drive, imagine being insane enough to cross over from the inside lane of a roundabout to your outlet road. Blaming the Tesla guy was funny though
Yup. Never change lanes in a roundabout.
It is a two lane roundabout, you are allowed to go straight while in the left lane. In fact MOST people go straight and only turn if they need to. Also, the road markings clearly indicate that you can turn left or go straight, the tesla failed to yield to the traffic in the roundabout. You need to learn how roundabouts work. You NEVER assume that the car will turn because you get situations like this. To be safe you should always assume they will go straight and only go if it is safe to do so.
It is actually legal though, you can see the signs on the road itself in the clip, right lane has to exit and left lane either exits or goes left on the roundabout
Yeah as nimrod said, theres nothing illegal or insane about what the cammer did. You're supposed to yield to cars already in the roundabout to avoid exactly this type of scenario....
13:00 maybe I'm in the minority opinion for saying this considering I dont see any comments about it yet, but why are you being annoying and staying right behind the dude that just wants to pass in the left lane? He was very clearly tailgating the dude hogging the left and you chose to drive just behind them. You're just as much a problem as the left lane hog
YEAH. lane hogging is actually illegal in most places. He was the as*hole in this situation if you ask me. The other driver was rather agressive with it, but I would be too if someone was being a cuñt in front me
But did anyone have blinkers on? I don't think they did. Blinkers exist to indicate one's intention. The cars on the left can also slow down in order to get out of a predicament. From the cammer's perspective it sort of seemed they were quite happy to be where they were. So, he may not have been very attentive to their potential desires but it's not like they themselves were doing anything to get out their situation or even indicate that they wanted to.
He honked because he was cut off, with no turn signal. The guy wasn't at fault in any way 😂
7:38 I wonder if he is driving backwards in a fault-state…? Is he trying to commit insurance fraud in the most obvious way possible? My brain hurts after watching that one over 3 times in a row…
Pay no mind, Twas but Merlin Ambrosius, living his life backwards to our perception of time.
2:03 So I can throw out my license, cancel my insurance and crash cars like I'm in GTA... and there's nothing anyone can do about it? Awesome! I know how I'm driving from now on! 👍
3:03 when the little girl asks if the guy (i'm assuming it's her dad) is ok, that was so sweet
6:26 Gotta love some old school Cypress Hill

1:13
Dude: WoAH!
Radio: "Oh, shit." His heart was pounding.
Yes. Yes it was.
5:27 Why would the driver of the car have even had it in reverse while stopped at a red light in the first place? What possible reason would there be to even touch the gear shifter?
To me it looks like the jeep was almost on the line. So maybe the car in front of them almost run the red, decided to stop, waited for a while and during the clip decided it would be best to reverse to clear the intersection.
Wow, it’s scary how so few people understand that you can watch out for others to do things and can use your brakes.
We should stop calling this drivers idiots.
Instead call them what they realy are.
Criminally negligent.
@4:45 That driver handled that like a BOSS.
2:27 Unlicensed driver who furthermore did not have a license. How profound, Mr. Wizard!
Drive carefully, folks. Accidents like these are a reminder.
10:43 I knew they were real!!!
cammer at 4:25 had three business day to slow tf down, they weren't even tailing the white car and they still hit it! that takes talent. Yeah maybe the white car shouldn't have fully stopped, but come ON!!! that's ridiculous.
Nice video. Good job buddy
12:20 That’s why you use your turn signal at the roundabout like YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO!
That's why you yield untill the person has passed, LIKE YOUR SUPPOSED TO 😂😂
5:10 The way I was yelling PULL OVER and the cammer just kept driving. I don't care if he was perfectly fine to keep driving but the fact that they didn't even pull over to assess pisses me off.
What dash cam is the person 1:54 using. Crazy amount of information.
bro was in a mobile game
9:25 What I dont understand is that, they pulled into the lane, heard the horn, then STOPPED. They would've been ok if they slammed on the gas, to get in front of the other car, but insted they stop. "Well I guess they'll just hit me"
probably just panicked? when i was learning to drive my instinct when i was unsure was to go slow. (dont worry my instructor trained me out of that fast). ofc that can be incredibly dangerous, but it doesn't change the fact that slamming on the brakes in an emergency feels more intuitive than accelerating.
Good driving advice is if you want someone to slam on the brakes, honk your horn. If you want them to keep going, don't honk. It's an instinctive response to hit the brakes when you get honked at.
"This accident was caused by an unlicensed driver. Furthermore, the driver did not have a license..."
Oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Is that what happened?
7:40 it could be the clutch. Reverse has the lowest gears, so usually when a clutch burns out it loses the highest gears first. This may have been the only gear he could get to respond.
That bouquet of mattresses is both scary and funny.
Don't unlicensed drivers causing wrecks go to jail? Practically attempted murder
5:05 is the scariest type of situation. I'm fortunate enough to live with my mom so I could quit my job landscaping as soon as this sudden "sleepiness" issue emerged. I nearly had two accidents in the same day.
Being a few years even younger then, I had no clue how suddenly a moment can blink away if you're sleepy behind the wheel. I hadn't developed a respect for it.
Interestingly, I was still getting full hours of sleep, but that week of work was particularly brutal - with consistent 12-hour shifts and wet conditions that made cutting grass more tedious and tiring. It's unfortunate, I think, that the average American has no choice but to get behind a wheel to work virtually any job in the States... such that you ought to have a frantic addiction to caffeine to maintain yourself during these heavy work weeks
But I'll never drive sleepy again - which sounds almost comedic when compared to the klutzing effect of alcohol, but makes the warning *that much more important.* Stay safe everyone!
6:30
Cammer got a little excited over this.
If it was closer, I get it. Some go crazy over little things like that.
After seeing that turn signal on for that long, defensive driving would cause me to slow down and tap the brakes until I knew what the other driver was up to. As soon as that car hit the brakes the first time I knew it was going to do something stupid.
The trucker at 9:57 couldn’t see the long stretch of traffic from the height of his cab? 😅
maybe a brake failure? or transmission failure? or maybe he just wasn't paying attention
6:30 "Old lady needed to get over but I am too big of a jerk to let that happen without drama."

Honk to alert others of danger. You don't need to honk continuously after the danger is cleared.

4:28 this is why you should keep both eyes forward. cammer's liable for all the damages because the onus is on them to not rear end someone in the absence of a brake check. this wasn't a brake check.
I’m surprised no one is talking about 12:15 I understand the white car coming into the right lane, the cammer decided to switch lanes last minute, to the white car, it was open to go
right and they said they were trying to go straight but were in the incorrect lane to do so if they were getting out of the rotary where the car came in.
@@aliciawentzshadowsmaybe stop and look at the paint on the road that shows a straight arrow and a turn arrow. Can car was in his rights and Tesla should've yielded until can car was through.
@dailyvibez1543 the straight arrow does not mean to go straight through the rotary in that turn. It means straight after that turn on the rotary. I go through rotaries all the time. Left hand line is never for that exit there. It is for the following exit. If he wanted to exit the rotary at that turn, he should have been in the right lane.
7:20 Okay ngl that kind of reversing takes skill
3:20 the exit-seeking van basically never used his brakes. I saw one brief flash of brake lights, but that's it. Are people no aware that their vehicles can slow down before making dangerous turns?
You know.... the more I watch these, the more I have no desire to travel to Texas if I am going to be driving a car there.
I live in Texas and I love it here, but this state is full of uninsured drivers (it’s legal) who will never pay a dime for damage they cause. So come prepared with the right insurance coverage.
@@petethecommie I like how you finish with "Come prepared" as if the first half of your reply didn't just solidify my desire to never go to Texas. If I ever have the misfortune to be in Texas I will make sure to stay as far as possible from roads (which is impossible cause if there's one thing Texas loves more than it's state flag, its infrastructure for cars). But thanks for the advice!
9:23 Bikers call it "the sense," you are just becoming more adept at reading the indications someone is about to do something without seeing them actually do it or acknowledge they are via signaling to protect yourself. This a good thing, it means you are maturing as a driver.
3:50 that entire thing was just a shitshow
4:40 It was her in my opinion, plenty wide enough shoulder to stop on, there was absolutely no reason to just stop on the on-ramp

@@rjskillz92 wouldn’t call that slamming on their brakes lol. Perfectly safe to slow down like that and keeps the flow of traffic better by allowing that car to turn
People being " nice " is what causes those cut through accidents we are so familiar with in these videos. Do these people stop in the middle of the road every time they see someone with their left turn signal on? I predict they are going to be rear-ended in the not too distant future.
@@Earthneedsado-over177 this isn’t one of those scenarios where there’s low visibility like those scenarios you are thinking of though. It’s very open and clear. Loads of time and space to do it safely. The ones you’re thinking of are scenarios where being "nice" is a bad thing, that I agree with.
@@rjskillz92 there's no slamming brakes what are you fucking talking about? There's no reason to get upset there they did nothing wrong
4:10 Cammer was clearly the idiot, it's a yield situation so of course the car in front has to wait for a gap to merge in to.
There was still a bit of lane left to where the white Camry could've kept going as the merging lane was long enough for doing so, but other than that, cammer was not paying attention ahead of them which puts them partially at fault for the accident.
It's not even a yield situation, you are supposed to speed up to merge onto the highway not come to a complete stop to make merging impossible
@@jovo55 Yes there is no yield sign, but merging traffic has to yield to the highway traffic. what do you want? someone to just dart onto the highway? this is just horribly designed
@@Dan-et2gj Do you have no idea how to drive? 2:05 this video was taken on my birthday.
4:14 - Both. You can't stop in the middle of the road, but you also can't tailgate. This person was far too close to begin with. STOP TAILGATING!
Not both 😂 white car stopped because she had to yield, there was no room to merge.
1:02. That's literally 1/4 of a mile from my house. I avoid that section because there used to be four lanes and a central turn lane. They started "improving" the road this spring and promptly removed the turn lane and one of the travel lanes.
I can tell you're passionate about what you do.
4:54 I feel for you, guy. I have the same affliction where if I am really tired my brain will just shut off and my eyes will slam shut instantly. No warning, just power off!
7:20 His flux capacitor malfunctioned, causing him to move backwards through time relative to everyone else. From his point of view he's driving forwards.
3:15 South Dakota drivers. Unfortunately, I would know. It’s gets crazy sometimes
7:26 you see this dude doing this and you keep getting closer???
Most people who get dashcams end up in accidents shortly after buying one, I'm afraid to buy one at this point even though lol. Never been in an accident driving yet but I just ordered one, if I end up in an accident within a month i'm calling it now.
0:20: (in his worst Barney Fife impression) YA CAN'T DEW THAT!
0:41: I didn't know they made a Reliant Robin semi.
1:45: Probably took them about 15 seconds to realize they'd been hit by a truck. xD
Guy at 2:08 must've been in a hurry.
9:06: Suddenly, NASCAR.
3:23 Sounds like somebody really straining to push one out on the toilet!
4:40 - why on EARTH would you STOP like that when going onto a freeway????
Maybe because there's to much traffic? Most people prefer to not be T-Boned by people going 60mph+ 😂😂
@ you never stop like that, though - that’s so dangerous. You’re supposed to maintain a certain speed before you merge into the freeway to maintain traffic flow - people can’t exactly slow down to let you in
11: 50 what is that sound in the background?
11:40 one of the only times an ambulance is at fault. He should have had to look both ways before exercising his right of way, but he shouldve. He still shouldn't be at fault. As he had no way of knowing the ambulance was coming without looking, because the ambulance had no sirens.
8:40 I like how the driver stays close to the car in front of him the entire video, passenger says "too close" then "they almost hit us!" and the driver says "Yeah... I saw that... that's why I sped up!" Just casually playing off why he was tailgating the whole video. lol
Yeah exactly, I was seething at cammer for tailgating. It's so dangerous!
