- Stretched to its limit by the impact of Russia's war against Ukraine, rising borrowing costs, and high inflation, the 2021-2027 multiannual financial framework (MFF), the EU long-term budget, has no room for maneuver left.
To make sure it remains fit for purpose until 2027, the European Commission proposed a review of the budget.
In this video, we look at the Commission's proposal for the revision of the budget and the next steps in the negotiations of the review.

How people can spend the 7 yearsbudget in 3 years? And no one is question them?
The corruption is so high no one would bring this up.
The polititians should be responsible with they own money. Might they would think twice.
thats not what it is saying.... The EU needs 66 billion moreout of 1.1 trillion * 700M. Of course they didnt spent the 1.1 + 700M in just 3 years. They just know that by 2027 they would be short of 66 Billion because of all the rising costs ( Ukraine / Inflation etc)
In Italy the covid recovery fond 1,7 EU-€ 700 millios € are donated & the rest is a credit with interests to pay back => implication that ukraine has to pay back the Worldbank since 2014 as I know for sure and much more to the EU & non-EU stateshood
Ursula von der Leyen promised till yesterday to deliver 1 nillion artillery ammunition pieces to Ukraine and did not keep by 2/3 twothird her promise. Where did 2/3 of the money go ?
the money is in the factories producing them . they are just delayed and will come ! If you order Pizzas from three different pizzerias but 2 pizza deliveries are late it doesnt mean you were robbed, it just mean it will come but later
