2023 Appalachian Trail Section Hike | Day 6

Day 6 on the Appalachian trail was a challenging one. I left the NOC after having lunch and started the steep climb up to Sasafrass shelter. It was a long and steep 7 miles. I found a decent tent site, setup and ate dinner before calling it a night.

another great day on the trail man. I like the water from the rock scene. 7 miles straight up would be rough

It was quite the challenge to build a trail that is up hill the whole way I’m sure.
