Wow I finally feel like I’m understanding my sun, ketu Saturn conjunction. Excuse my language, but it’s a mindfuck of sorts. On top of it, Saturn is telling me I’m lacking in this area. I’ve been obsessed with becoming “somebody” because my family has so many problems I feel like I need to build myself up so I can take care of them and for security purposes. Or maybe I want to run away from my family and do what I do best for myself, but I just can’t escape! I feel like im giving up on myself if I don’t tackle my 10th house (in Scorpio). I feel like I am giving up my potential and if I’m being honest, my dreams and what inspires me. But, my family needs so much help. So much of me. I’ve recently realized how much dysfunction is in my home (I also have Chiron near my ic). My family needs so much of me and I have resentment for that, even though it’s not their fault. Is it my destiny to sacrifice my aspirations in the name of others needs? I would rather throw myself into my work and let somebody else play mother/nurturer, but when I do, my kids suffer because their father is mentally ill. I think my own father is too, and every woman in my family just goes along with it and maybe they were fine with having no rights and respect, but it just makes me feel like I’m dying inside. Not only that but I feel immense pressure to create some kind of career for myself because my only goal in life is to need nobody to support my me or my kids. I want to do it on my own so that I can exit troubled people out of my life and be happy. I want to choose my own direction. I want to rise above all the drama and have a peaceful free spirited life and I want to prove to myself that I can. I have been a stay at home mother since I was 17 and after my Saturn return I realized that my home life is a wreck (financially and mentally) and ever since then I’ve been broken down so much and so much of my life has crumbled and I feel like... how can I sit here and not do anything about it? I want to fix my family but in doing so, I abandon them? Trying to juggle the two feels like a thousand pounds on my shoulders. Either way, I’m letting people down, including myself. I pray that I can climb this mountain someday.
This is great, should we also move away from the planets that sit with Ketu? Mine sits with Saturn and that would affect my life on very practical levels.

So true. My recent Ketu antardasha pulled me back into vedic astrology after years of focus else where and now im back in the black hole of 8th house … obsessively as Ketu in Rahu nakshatra Shatabishak…. Acupuncturist and studying to be LMT … so detached from past trauma and the drive to heal ppl.

I have Rahu in Cancer in the 11th house and Ketu in Capricorn in the 5th house. I do not understand this much but I know something for sure: IT IS A HELL. I think that when Rahu's dispositor is in sambhanda with Ketu, then Ketu is important in how we address our dharmic calling signaled by Rahu. This is even more accentuated when Ketu's dispositor is also in sambhanda with Rahu, then our karmic past is instrumental for our dharmic calling and viceversa. In this second instance the native's life is going to feel somewhat contradictory and difficult to sort out specially before the age of 50. I think if the dignity of the dispositors and the position of the nodes is positive then they can help the native reach a serene realization of this reality of contradictions. If the dignity and position is adverse then the native will struggle in reaching this serenity.

To focus on rahu, (im 57), he's in late Leo 8th house conjunct uranus 3° before and Pluto 9° past him. All three opposition Chiron in the 2nd....i achieved success in earning up until my 54th year; the year i discovered astrology and saw my natal chart for the first time. I was ruined for ketu after that. I reinvented my life to better develop my individual healing skills and of course, my music transformed as well...more devotional, not sold to the highest bidder. ...now i cant figure out how to earn money at all...the skills have been cross-trained refocused...ok, now what? Music Alchemy I have Rahu in the 8th, Ketu in Second. Ketu in Libra, i used to be the type to be the type to sit on money for the future, I've learned to take a balanced approach toward money, which is that money needs to flow - money goes, money cones back. That said i try and work hard to earn it and that works fine for me.
Here's my advice -
Since you have rahu in 8th which indicates a strong interest in hidden knowledge I recommend you buy a tarot card deck (i use ryder waite) and a text book (i use brigit esselmont's ultimate guide) for quick reference and use it to assess all your business ideas alongside other day to day decisions as well. I usually pick one card for each idea and write down the key pointers. I swear it works like magic, i've built up three strong businesses off the back of this method and am half through building an epic website. No of this i could have done with out the guidance. Have faith and give it a try you' won't go wrong.

My Pisces Ketu is Conjunct Saturn in the 10th House. Specifically In Uttara Bhadrapada. I work in hospice now, and hope that’s probably what I’m supposed to do. It’s honestly not that bad? I have yet to hear a clear explanation of Ketu and how to deal with it. Why would ketu come back into balance if you’re not even focused on it and ignoring it? 😊That makes absolutely no sense. Also not everyone had the opportunity to develop their Rahu so you can’t embrace it if that’s the case.
I thought Ketu causes loss so we would stop and from that loss experience divinity. If we are not careful we just run after rahu but it can be point of liberation.

Dear.. I think its not that Ketu pushes the native to focus on Rahu..!! It is the other way round. Rahu enchants the native, makes him run after mirage, illusions and then deceive him. When the native is tired running after the mirage, Ketu comes forward to make him realize the futility of ambitions. This is the way Ketu liberates.

Ketu in 11th house in Leo, Magha Nakshatra, Pada 4.
Rahu in 5th house in Aquarius, Satabhisha Nakshatra, Pada 2. Venus and Mercury are also in the 5th house. Mercury conjuct Rahu. Ketu is alone. Saturn is in the 3rd house in Sagittarius and Moon is in the 9th house in Gemini. Libra Ascendant.
What if Rahu is in the 10th house in the birth chart, then in the 4th chart in the d9? I'm feeling caught between the two. Just try and work on both houses?
P.s. I disagree with the "forcing" thing, like try and force yourself to quit a habit like flipping a switch 20 times before leaving the house. I like the idea of coming home to the body, noticing the stressful sensations that come up when your hand is on the switch, noticing, noticing, noticing...breathing deeply and noticing. Eventually after a few years, the stress dissolves, right? Or at least it's better managed. Of course, there's probably something to be said for forcing every once in a while.

My Moon sign is Pisces and Jupiter, Moon and Rahu are placed in my Moon Sign and Ketu is placed in 7th House in Virgo sign. I am currently under Ketu Mahadasha. I have been struggling in relationship particularly with the opposite gender. Is it because Ketu is in my Seventh House? As per your video I should let go of the aspects of seventh house where Ketu is placed abd focus on improving where Rahu is placed i.e. First House. So what should I focus on? We have to know exactly what ketu is indicating in our chart. I always thought Ketu was indicating foreign countries in my chart and I always wanted to live in another country, so it was disappointing for me, but now I know it was indicating religion and it makes sense.

I like to think of Ketu as the desire that ropes us into reincarnation. Learning to let go of Ketu, our strongest desire, is where Ketu becomes the liberator. Like you were mentioning, it's helpful for people to understand how developing their Rahu will actually help balance their Ketu. Makes Rahu seems less foreign when people can see how they fit together. They are two halves of a whole and developing Rahu makes life seem more complete. Anyway, not assuming I'm saying anything new, just thankful for you giving us a platform to discuss it!

ryan, my ketu is rather tied to my rahu. the lord of my ketu goes through two dispositions to conjunct rahu, as is the case with the nakshatra lords also. my rahu is in leo and conjunct the 9th cusp though in the 10th house and i have always felt a strong pull towards 9th house things. its been unfamiliar and strange to me since i am not used to 9th house things and my jupiter is trashed but ive been doing as much as i can to improve my jupiter; i chanted mantras for brihaspati and ganesh for around 3 months straight, try maintain a spiritual practice through small things like being grateful for what i have, trying to improve myself, etc. as well as establishing a consistent meditation routine though lately it has been difficult for me as there’s other things i wish to prioritise. i also love reading about astrology, watching astrology videos and a goal of mine for this year is to study it much more in depth. having to establish a faith in a higher power seems to have been a key lesson for me to learn and although it is unfamiliar to me, i’d say im getting used to it! i can relate to my ketu in aquarius placement and feel like i can sometimes fall into it but feel as though im rly moving towards my rahu in leo in the 9th. im really young also... does this sometimes happen? perhaps im not being as conscious as i THINK i am. bearing in mind i also have moon + rahu together and the lord of my rahu (sun) is in cancer in GF dignity.

So encouraging and helpful. Though with Ketu in the 6th house (likely) and Rahu in Capricorn, (and Saturn Moon conjunct within less than 2 deg in Aquarius) it's a real riddle trying to approach this thing. Releasing the obsession with needing to compete and work hard, going towards moksha and foreign lands only to discover the need to work hard. It's like trying to give your healing neurology a break whilst needing it to work for you to drive you towards your own success anyway.
My ketu is in the seventh house and it's It's true because I have tried to put a lot of focus in relationships which I am truly not even interested in until now that I am changing how I see myself and I live in relationships so I guess I am getting it going and working.

I have Ketu in Leo conjunct the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto in the 3rd house. I can barely speak two coherent sentences without loosing focus. I'm suppose to think I've got this? Mercury is also retrograde.
Read the entire chart, not just one position.

This is so frustrating. My rahu is in the 12th and in leo and conjunct saturn. How the hell am I supposed to move toward that? Leo is about performing and being exposed the 12th house is the exact opposite- it's about keeping secrets and hiding. And moving away from the 6th house means moving away from the discipline of daily errands and work... but saturn which is placed where I'm supposed to move toward is about DAILY ERRANDS AND WORK! So my placements here are too contradictory. It's true that I often feel dissatisfied after spending time on chores and errands of the 6th house, but my rahu is hidden from me in the 12th, in a bad sign that is also contradictory to the 12th and being conjunct the ruler of Ketu's sign. There seems to be no avenue I can think of to move towards it and away from ketu and I'm already in middle age.
To say Leo is about performing is like saying Led Zeppelin is just about heavy metal. Leo can also be about solid traditions and building a legacy of one's inspiration. The 12th is a hidden house, but this can be done in your deepest consciousness. Saturn's probably giving you more problems, as he's the one making you see all the problems rather than the possibilities... happens all the time, that's why Saturn's gaze is downward. He has a hard time looking up and believing in one's inspiration. He is preventing you from seeing the inner inspirations hidden within LEO! LOOK UP! LOOK UP! Middle age or not, see... Saturn only sees the problem, he doesn't see, "well this is great! I'm seeing a potential for change and I still have half a life to go!"

Thank you for this video! I’m currently going through my Ketu Dasha and have definitely noticed its impact on my life, which to be honest has been for the better even though it sucked major balls in the beginning. However I’m still trying to figure out my Ketu and Rahu placements as they change depending on if the chart has been calculated with the Mean Rahu or the True Rahu, so Ketu could be in either 6th or in 7th. The frustrating part is I can see both being played out so are both calculations correct? Also both charts were in Lahiri ayanamsa.
Does this mean that Ketu wants me to emotionally detach myself from both of these houses?

Okay, my Ketu is in Taurus in the 5th house. I believe it is about creating beauty and love and knowing your truth. And everything you do is about that creative venture. It is loving your children to obsession and making a home for them. It is a place of deep spiritual awareness about all of life and death and it’s most profound truths. It’s hard to comprehend a path never trodden. 11th house Ketu, well I have a few planets in Scorpio. So I’m not sure if my explanation would be the best. But I think you will try to define your identity and being from large social circles. You want to be recognised and feel part of something. And yet each time you try it doesn’t feel right. With Ketu You start to feel detached from ppl, because you can see right through ppl, especially in Scorpio. You realise that you feel better when your away from the masses. Scorpio can cause spontaneity and that has been second nature to me. I know the path Taurus is more structured and that is new to me. I guess I didn’t help, it’s a riddle I guess 🙏🏼

Hello Kris, I think Ketu in Lagna is a spiritual blessing . I have it too conjunct Saturn and Ascendant degree. If you enjoy your solitude invest it in your spiritual practice and will be far more benefited by such a " divine romance" rather than the heartaches and ilusions of the potential Rahu- esqe partners , full of delusions and utterly deceptive for the most part . No human love no matter how grand , can ever give us the permanent and ever new bliss of God contact :))😇
