Well, looking at this, AI does not provide an end result, but rather prettified step for then manual polishing it to the final. And now i wonder about comparing AI (Evoto, Retouch4me, etc) with what you can do in kinda same time - run an action and loosely mask it. That would be closer to it's current application (and purpose).
Good call! In many cases it gets pretty close where the manual steps are pretty minimal. In future episodes I will include some other programs to see how they compare as well. I appreciate you checking it out and leaving your thoughts!
Loved being able to hear your thoughts and process for this!! Completely different world for me in photoshop but you can see how your retouch had intention behind it and it just felt more “real” 🖤🖤🖤 Can’t wait for more
I appreciate you checking it out and enjoying the thoughts! It was really fun and honestly a little scary. But it was a good insight into where we are, and how human touch is still obvious. Hooray! Thanks again :)
I knew right away the left one was yours because it was more perfect. But yeah i am waiting till ai can do better or the same level of retouching as you before i use it. Which should still take years.
I am curious about that as well, how intelligent would it have to be in order for to achieve the hyper detailed results I need it to have in order to be a complete system? I guess it would depend on the training data. Thanks for checking it out!

the ai version looks use high pas, your version a lot more to d&b, d&b version looks more natural on the skin texture
Thank you for your observations! It really does seem to present results that reflect a frequency separation based workflow.

So no speed retouch video? 😊
I got to make more of them!
You did awesome!
You are awesome my friend!
The AI interprets texture problems as if they were lighting problems. So they are still there but less noticeable
That's a great observation!
