25 Years Without John In The World Never Forgotten RIP John We Miss You Beyond Words Wish We Could Have Him Back But He Lives On In His Family Friends And Us Fans We Will Never let JD's Legacy Die
John looks so very happy. Sad to know things didnot work out with his marriage. John was a tall & handsome man . I know she wishes things were different too in this day & time. Lost his dream home & burned his grandmothers guitar . Hurts my heart very much . Thanks for this share .
The first guitar John's had was a Gibson his Grandmother gave him is not the one he was cremated with; it is on display (and on the net) at the Musical Instrument Museum's Artist Gallery in Phoenix, AZ. You should come to the Pacific Grove beach near where he died on the 2nd Sunday in October. Lots of us gather and sing his songs and tell stories of meeting him etc.... Keep sining his songs and working for a better world- that's what he wanted. Peace, Lisa Gygax
John's recovered remains were NOT cremated along with his grandmother's guitar or any guitar; that guitar IS the one on display. Sadly, only about 70 percent of John's remains were recovered. His passing, though fairly quick, was extremely violent. I made the mistake of reading the autopsy report, it was quite graphic and horrifying to read. It just shattered me. Still does.
It's really something to hear him talk of the Exxon Valdez oil spill. Can you imagine what he would think of the Gulf's oil spill? Also I think he would have wrote a song about 9-11 & would be very disappointed in the end of NASA's shuttle program. I miss him. Wonderful man, environmentalist, humanitarian...
I watch so many video's of John & stop & enlarged prints of his life . Read his home had taxes due after his death ,it was lost. I hope after that was written, it was saved . I read his guitar was burned with him, I hope it was not the one his grandmother gave him .They said he had many .I pray ,not his first one.I really loved John's singing & his outgoing personally & he was a great speaker & a love of animals to be saved .Cared for Earth Day. He wanted to travel to the moon, John never did
Happy you told the truth on his Gibson his grandmother gave him . Nice to meet you on u-tube. Would love to visit AZ. I love all his songs . Peace,~~Ava~~
It really bothered me hearing about John's death. I couldn't sleep the night before he died so I got up and listened to his music in the dark. The next day, I heard the shocking news.
@sedona05 Paul Watson tried to hel p clean up the oil spill, along with sea shepherd. But the oil company told him they have it under control---really? If we all used Ellis water, macrobiotics etc. on the ocean, and we all worked together, we could really help clean up the oceans better. I wish the oil company would realize that they don't own the ocean. It is one thing if they were really put their heart into cleaning it up; but their efforts are almost nonexistent. It is all of our ocean.
He made some good music and did good deeds but his public persona was partly masking anger and self-control problems. Were it not for a hard-to-reach fuel switch he might have languished as tabloid fodder in later years. R.I.P.
He looked really good and happy here. But to be honest I think the marriage to Cassandra was just trying to cover the loneliness and sadness he felt after the divorce from Annie.
God, I’m STILL pissed that you stole this brilliant man away from is far too soon! Obviously, you wanted him singing for you, but come on! You could have listened to him here or earth; you sure as hell didn’t need to take his voice away from us!
Visited his memorial in Aspen today. Still so special!
God I love this man.

+The Verbally Abusive Clown Hearing about his death and reading the NTSB report is shocking. Oh how I wish I could have seen him.

I have to say that John Denver is one of those rare artistis that i enjoy more its personality than his music.
I'm glad John did not keep the mullet hairdo that just doesn't look right
+Peter W Aussie mullet, lol
Mullets are awesome.
Well, it was the style of the time.
Who ever cut his hair needs slapping. 👎

@scott stickller WHAT? What are you talking about?
No. This is the one and only John Denver.
Sadly windstar no longer exists.

I love this 😍😍❤️👍🥰🙏❗️❗️
Have to say I don't like this hair style on him.
It grows out quickly.
It was the 80s, that was fashionable

I want my ash mingled with his.
