You have a great car. My 1st new car was a 1975 Cutlass Supreme. It was Inca silver with red interior. It was a special order from the dealership. I kept it for 21 years. I hated to see it go. Oldsmobile was my favorite car brand. Enjoy your car, you have a real treasure.
My parents bought new in 1975, it was Inca Silver w/red cloth interior. Inca Silver was a new color for '75, I think. That car was built well and a strong runner. These days every other car is silver in color.
That was my first car.. my grandma's sister gave it to me.. it had swivel bucket seats 🔥🔥🔥 Chocolate brown and peanut butter insides.. I miss it so much
I would say that it is one of the smoothest cars I've ever ridden in. I didn't know they came with swivel bucket seats, that's pretty awesome!! Thank you so much for the comment.
Sam, great video. Love seeing clean low milage old cars that survived all these years, and are still mostly original. Keep' em coming. I would enjoy seeing the 72 Cutlass. Howard
I guess it's hard for me to think of a car from 1975 as a classic car because I can remember it when it was new, lol. So to me, it's just a used car. It seems to be a fine example from that year though. I miss the "boulevard ride" of the old cars where you just glided over the bumps. I'm 6' 8" so you can understand my love affair with old land yachts, it's all about the leg room, LOL! All that being said, if I could have my druther's I'd have the car my folks had when I was a little kid, a 1971 Dodge Charger :) which had almost the same interior color as that Olds.
In 1976, I bought a 1975 Olds Cutlass Supreme 2Dr Landau roof. It was a creamy yellow with the green Landau roof. just recently, I bought another 1975 Olds Cutlass Supreme 2Dr Landau roof only this one has the identical blue color a and top and interior as yours. Love the color. I think it's striking. Good luck with yours.
Bimmers are built for Autobahn and Mulholland types of extremes, while these cars were built for city streets and 55-70 MPH interstates, and even a little bit of off-pavement use for rural buyers. This beautiful Colonnade is much less out of its element on the Autobahn, than it is on Mulholland.
I used to have a great red 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with a white top, when I was a student at CU from 1984-86 in Boulder CO. It was a really lovely + very reliable car. I bought it for $1,000 from a dealer, and sold it for $500 back to its original owner who had seen it parked on the street and had put a note on the windshield.
I started it up the other day for the first time since October and it still started right up like it never missed a beat! I can’t wait for summer to get to driving it again!
Love Oldsmobile. Owned 8 so far. 3 cuttys. 71 Cutlass S, 76 Cutlass Supreme Brougham white red guts, 79 Cutlass Supreme Brougham same color combination as yours. And 88’s, 98’ and 2 Toronado Trofeo. Do you still have this?
Can we build one for you? Went the advertisement for the Cutlass at the time. Nice car, blue is my favorite color. Cars in those days were really great. Just found your channel and subscribed. Really enjoying your vids, love the Edsel, now I have to get one for my garage!
Thank you so much for subscribing!! Sorry it took so long to get back with you. I am so glad you are enjoying the videos. I agree they don't make cars like that anymore. Again, thank you so much for subscribing. I hope to hear from you in the future.
really nice original cutlass, I have had many of them in my life, first was a 78, cutlass supreme, then a 67 cutlass supreme, and also a 89 cutlass ciera euro sport edition, and also an 87 delta 88, all great cars , yours is beautiful keep it all original and realize what you have, a very beautiful car :)
Beautiful car, lasy I sat down in one of those I almost died, not because of the car but the driver lol, same color same year, we hit a concrete culvert sideways on the drivers doing about 110 folded the car in half, I'm 53 years old now this was back in 1988 I was about 18, I'm still feeling the after affects today but yea they are cheat cars and also heavy and tough
That must have been pretty scary, I couldn't even imagine!! I think the scariest thing that happened to me was when I blew a tire on the highway in my Edsel and spun four times.
My first car was a 74 Cutlass Supreme almost identical to this one. Looks like a great car definitely would not change the color. These were good ole cars had a ton of fun in mine that was a long time ago.
That is unreal find. Its perfect. That was my first car and i miss it everyday..dont ever sell it..the round headlights, the swoops down the 2 super heavy doors..350 rocket...theres no other car ever built like that car...thanks for the vid...unbelievable car
Very nice original car. Good job guys with the interview and showing of the Cutlass. You have given me hope for the future generations. I have always loved Cutlasses and have a 71 red Convertible and an 80 light Blue hardtop. My parents also owned a white 73 Supreme.🚙👍
Thank you that means a lot to us!! I am glad you enjoyed it. Cutlasses are great cars. We are thinking of doing another video on it because we have been getting a ton of questions.
Bro, we had a very similar car from new! I was in third grade. Anyway, my Dad said "no more Fords for me" in the early '70s, and went to R. W. Norris Oldsmobile in West Milton, Ohio, in late 1974, and bought a Cutlass Supreme! It was similar on the outside, same colors, but it had a Landau-style vinyl roof instead of full-vinyl, and the full wheel covers rather than the Super Stocks. Inside, ours had a clock under the headlight switch, pushbutton AM radio, and AC, but was otherwise identical. We also had a Kraco 'console.' which sat on the transmission tunnel and created a place to mount the Johnson 23 channel CB!👍 Those cars were EVERYWHERE for the next ten or fifteen years. Try gently pushing on that radio dial - it looks like it could be an 8 track, and it says "Pioneer," so it's not original. I would find someone who is extremely good at matching paint, and just do a spot repair on that hood.
I had this car! My first car as a 16 year old in 1981 was a 75 Cutlass in powder blue, just like this one. She had a navy landau top, white vinyl interior with the front seats being two swiveling Captain's chairs. Mine had chrome wire wheels instead of the rally wheels, though. Loved that car. I let my dad talk me into taking my mom's 1980 Cutlass so he could trade my 75 for a new car for her. I should've stuck with the 75!

Cool car, Jacob! I had a '78 Old Cutlass Supreme. That car was so comfortable.....like driving a comfy couch down the road!
