I’m so happy you mentioned the ’Graceling Realm’ because I feel like people just acts as if it never even existed and i’m over here like ”hello? this some good shit!”
I know your comment and this video is 2 years old, but YES. This series got me into reading, and I only now just got to read Bitterblue even though I've wanted to read it since it came out and it resparked my love for the series. I have read and reread Graceling and Fire about 3 times, which is a lot for me and I cannot get over how not-talked about these books are!

I bought Truly Devious for my neice and I read it and LOVED IT! I originally thought it wouldn’t be my thing, but I was pleasantly suprised! The nods to Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes just make me so happy! This Savage Song is on my TBR. Everything by VE Schwab is gold! :)
The Truly Devious Series is SO AMAZING! I cannot wait for the third book!. I totes agree that more people need to talk about it. I also loved The Last Magician and need to continue on with the series!! The romance had me swooning.
Graceling is my favorite series ever and you’re like the first UA-camr who covered them.. they’re beautiful and so special to me ! 100% would recommend !
OMG, the Monsters of Verity is SO GOOD! I went into it not expecting much and got out a different person, honestly, this story stayed with me for weeks and that ending 😭 I'm definitely adding the rest of these series to my TBR!

I have The Graceling series and I will be starting them as soon as I can. I am trying to decide if I should finish Red Rising first LOL. I am on Chapter 2 of Book 1 but I kinda detached due to homework issues. Will definitely be adding ALL these books to my TBR. Thank you so much for all this recommendations ♥️♥️♥️
I’m currently reading The last magician and omg I cannot believe how I had no clue it existed. I really don’t understand how nobody talks about it. I love it almost as much as Six of crows, Red Queen and The folk of air series!! I wish I knew about this book series earlier. I’m going to recommend it to all my friends!!
This Savage Song was the first V E Schwab book I read (and not the last!) and I picked it up last spring bc of you! Thanks for introducing me to one of my favourite authors!
Finally some talk about The Last Magician thank you , I had read it back when it was first published and completely fell in love with it and I was surprised at how long it stayed under the radar it definitely needs more love .
I am absolutely in love with Truly Devious! I love books based in schools and true crime! I was looking for a great mystery to read and this was definitely what I needed!
Absolutely agree with you. I loved the last magician ♥️♥️😍, truly devious and graceling! And the other two are ob my tbr!! I think the CITY OR BRASS by S.A Chakraborty is also very very underrated! The story is so complex and epic and the characterS so diverse. The male protagonist reminds me so much of Lazlo and Elias and I really think you would LOVE THEM as well!!
Oh my gosh, yes! Witchlands and This Savage Song definitely do not get enough love! Truly Devious is also on my reading list - definitely looking to pick it up soon (once I finish Bloodwitch haha). I haven’t seen enough people talking about City of Brass (and Kingdom of Copper, which I’m currently reading) - it’s a series I’m absolutely in love with it at the moment!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on The Reader Trilogy by Traci Chee. It's a super diverse fantasy series with amazing world-building and some of the best character arcs I've ever read.
You should check out A Discovery of Witches (or also called The All Souls trilogy) by Deborah Harkness. The book contains witches, vampires and daemons and a part of the series is set in a historical period. I totally recommend it!
Kristin Cashore’s Graceling trilogy is my favorite series from my teen years and I still love them and think they were brilliantly done. I’m so glad that you mentioned them!
You introduced me to Victoria Schwab and I recently finished reading A Darker Shade of Magic (I've also read Vicious) and she is an amazing author! I love your book recommendations!
My favourite underrated book series are the Ranger’s Apprentice book series, written by John Flanagan, and The Great Library series, written by Rachel Caine
Of The Great Library series, I've only read Ink and Bone, but it was excellent and I do want to read more. I own the next two books in the series, which I think is all that's out so far?

The Monsters of Verity duology is sooooo good!!! And I feel the same way, people are talking about Victoria Schwab all over the place but not about this books enough! So you can share your tears with me, Our dark duet it's so dark indeed, is was so good. And Kate and August, love them both!!! Okey, I'll stop now. Love your glasses. Nice video ❤
Truly Devious is SO good! I agree, it needs more hype and I love it so much! The second book is super good too. Can't wait to read the third book when it comes out!
My favorite underrated book series is the Waterfire Saga which is one of my favorite series of all time but almost no one has read them. To anyone who is thinking about reading it, I highly highly suggest it! I’m currently rereading it and it’s actually the first series I’ve ever reread.
Another very very very underrated series is Chaos Walking. Patrick Ness’s writing is amazing and his characters are so deep and beautiful (Todd is the most precious bean ever) and twists keep you going on and on until you realize you haven’t breathed in a minute which is starting to be long. Seriously the Chaos Walking series is so underrated, I highly recommend you check it out! Besides there’s a talking dog called Manchee and he is such a good boy!

J&E Precision Logistics The main character is living on a planet on which the men’s thoughts are gathered in what is called “the Noise”. Everyone can see, hear or feel what men and animals think. One day, as he is walking around with his dog (Manchee) he finds a hole in “the Noise”. We then follow him as he tries to figure out what it is, where it comes from and what it means for the future. I am sorry I am not usually very good at this but I hope I did it right. If not, I’d recommend you check out the book’s synopsis 😉
i find the concept of The Monsters of Verity duology very interesting. i found out the series after watching a previous video you did before and i bought the books a few weeks after. i love it so much! thanks for introducing this wonderful duology 💜

Thanks for the recommendations, Hannah. I’ve only read the Monsters of Verity from your list and you are right, it’s fantastic and so hard to explain how good it is. It’s one of those books that sticks with you. Adding the others to my “Hannah’s recommendations” list. Currently on a self-imposed slump because I am very late with my online course, and the tbr just keeps getting longer, but I’ll get to them... soon.
Yes, Graceling! I completely agree...Graceling deserves a resurgence! I reread Graceling this month for the first time in years and I have an even greater appreciation for how well it has aged. I actually think that the reading order you chose makes a lot of sense! Choosing to read Bitterblue before Fire just helps the flow of the overall series. You get to follow a main character that you are familiar with before moving on to a different protagonist, setting, and time period.
I'm working my way through this list, so far I've read Truthwitch and This Savage Song (but not Dark Duet). I loved This Savage Song so much. It was perfection!
Of the books I’ve read on your list I absolutely agree 100% with you! Totally underrated. The books that I haven’t well... you make me what to stop what I’m reading right now and pick those books up right now! 💕

I have waited so so so long for someone to talk about the Graceling trilogy. It is unbelievably good. Fire is also my favorite. I think if the ending of Bitterblue was a little less disappointing it would be a favorite. But for sure a must read.
I read the Graceling series like a decade ago and I so agree! It's so underhyped! Fire is my favourite book as well, I like the romance/love interest better and I just love Fire and the world. I also love that Kristen Cashore's heroines aren't 'typical' women, in their world, or ours. I would say that Juliet Marillier's Sevenwaters books or Jean M. Auel Clan of the Cave Bear books are severly underrated and well worth checking out. I've only heard one booktuber (Jean Bookishthoughts) talk about Juliet Marillier and none talk about Jean M. Auel.
I want to reread the graceling books now!! I adored them in 2014ish and I forgot how much I loved those characters & world until you started mentioning them. Gosh this video just added so many books to my tbr/to be reread, thank you!

Auel.
I’m reading Truly Devious & loving it! I added the others in the video to my wish list. Thank you! Love your videos!
I want to reread the graceling books now!! I adored them in 2014ish and I forgot how much I loved those characters & world until you started mentioning them. Gosh this video just added so many books to my tbr/to be reread, thank you!
YES truly devious is soooo good!! also i’ve been wanting to start a new fantasy series but i wasn’t sure what but when you described truthwitch i was like woah that’s exactly what i want to read right now!
A lot of these are on my list! I plan to pick up “Truly Devious” after I finished Daisy Jones. I’m glad to hear you love it!
katsas grace is actually survival. She's really good at protecting herself in fights against both people and animals, she can fall asleep on comand, she can survive months in the wildernes without starving and so on.
