I am an active 4 times G3 Champion. From my competitive experience, the main reason why 160 is used in competitive, is because it SIGNIFICANTLY allows the beyblade to jump back out from the Overzone and sometimes the Xtremezone. I suggest anyone who's serious about competitive beyblade to test PW 160R and see the results.

@@wills242it’s a rule set they made for a recent takara tomy event, they made a list of parts where for each of those parts used in a combo your opponent gets 1 point, so nothings truly banned and the rules only apply to tournaments that wish to apply them at the moment:) they were only made for that one takara tomy event so it shouldn’t be appearing as a rule in future WBO events or anything
Edit: it also currently only applies to the wizard rod blade, the phoenix wing blade, 9-60, Ball, and Orb
@@strangermax2245 Yes! Amazing! I've heard this referred to as the "B4 ruleset". I think its interesting. Im hosting a kickoff tourny here in LA soon and plan to use the B4 ruleset. Will be testing it today and tomorrow!
Efficiency is confusing me but always enjoy these videos. Good stuff.
It's the gain and loss mixed together. Efficient combos will have a positive value. For example, a combo may have a good win rate but when it lose, it loses big which makes it inefficient.
EER = (WR% x PPW) - (LR% x PPL)
@@ENDEV gotcha gotcha. That makes sense. I think the only thing missing from this is breakdowns on where these things matchup well. Like something may have a high win loss ppw against a particular blade or combo etc. probably to hard to track those things though I would imagine. Either way great work. I always look at these to see how accurate my takes are on things.
@@nizumablader My spreadsheet can actually do that but only those combos that have a good number of battles will be a good candidate. We'll eventually get to that point as more data is collected so that more combos can be featured.
This is amazing yet again! I love how you integrated PPL to make the efficiency rating! If you don’t mind suggestions, then here are a few I have:
1. I think (PPW*WR)/(PPL*LR) to make a ratio could potentially make the efficiency rating a bit more clear. Then you multiply by 0.5 to center it about 50%, and you’ll have numbers like 66% efficient or 45% efficient, which just looks better and feels more understandable.
2. I’ve said this before, but I think removing the ratchet part of the equation would be beneficial for simplicity. On the leaderboard there’s multiple variations or WR Ball, DS Taper, PW Orb, etc. Just condensing the combos to Blade and Bit combinations would help both increase the total pool of data a combo has, and make the leaderboard more simple.
3. One problem with compiling data from the entirety of the life of BBX is that you have data from metas that don’t exist anymore. For example, DS T was likely much more prevalent early on in BBX and had a much higher win rate, but may not be that great now. I think it would be nice to have a VERSION of the spreadsheet that only has data from the past 3 months, to make sure the info is all recent. The original spreadsheet could be the “Lifetime” version and the new one would be the “Meta” version.

1. I thought of presenting it percentage wise but went on +/- instead so that people will know immediately that it is inefficient if it has a negative value. I plan on showing the negative combos too like in this video. Also, I still have the Power Rating.
2. I can present it that way in my future videos especially WizardRod-Ball combos.
3. Don't worry, it's already planned out. The way I built my spreadsheet is that I can filter out old inputs then my formulas will do the work. Maybe after BeybladeX's 1yr anniv in July.

Yayy! Loving that points per loss got integrated into the stats! I wonder if it will be possible to do some sort of matchup analysis. i.e. how beyblade A's efficiency rating varies as it matches up against 1) A single beyblade 2) type of beyblade i.e. aggregated data for stamina/attack/balanced types (But this might be challenging since its kinda hard to put certain beyblades into one bucket i.e. WR5-70H has great stamina, but has high burst resistance too? Or is it a defense type?) 3) All beyblades (Which is basically what the current efficiency rating shows).
I would think that it would be super hard to present the data analysis above, but whoever who owns that is probably gonna be crazy good in tournaments as they can easily identify beyblades that are anti-meta.
Yeah, it will be hard to group together combo types. I also need a lot of data inputs but we'll get there eventually in the future.. 😉

Efficiency rating is interesting. Is this also taking into account "banned" parts like 9-60 and PW. How would the list change taking into account 0,1,2, and 3 pt combos
I'd be very interested in seeing ∆points, i.e. points won minus points lost. this would show how close the matches are.
@@ProactiveYellow I have a point differential column in my file. Some combos have a lot of battle under its belt so the delta value is larger compared to those with fewer battles collected.

WR 5-70H (base on Win rate percentage) 2nd bey
DB 5-60 P (own preference and also I don't have the GP yet) 3rd bey

That's a solid lineup! Just practice launching. Flat launch, try tilted in every direction, and where to drop.

I have a question regarding phoenix wing and orb. Is there really a difference between orb and ball? Like, what makes orb more used on phoenix wing then ball?
Ball has more stamina while Orb is defensive. Orb is like a hybrid of ball+needle.

Rhinohorn 9-80/5-80 LF/Accel quite good but i launch it with string using Luca style and knock PW Rod and HS
So this suggests that aggresive combos are actually low risk?
WizRod Hexa having the highest PPL is really worrying 😅 Maybe I should switch to something like Taper or Rush, so I can dodge better
Not low risk but a controlled risk. You have to consider its win rate because the lower win rate, the more you give up 1 point. Also, aggressive players need to be careful in launching to avoid Own Finish.
Thanks Endev. I just started playing beyblade x 2 weeks ago. I used your stats as basis..and played on my first ever X tournament, the Grand tournament here in the PH last night. Almost 180 people on the single elims division and I came up 3rd runner up.
Using: (opted to use this combos because I don't have the time to practice launching and how to utilize the X, plus I notice that most players launch their beys agressively)
Phoewi 5-60 orb
Shark 1-60 rush
Winrod 9-60 and its stock bit(coz I don't have ball)

I used hellshammer with 3-70 high tapper in a tournament yesterday in Australia

@ENDEV yes it was my first tournament I got to the semi finals before anyone else but I came 4th in the tournament the hellshammer combo I used was more focused of smash attacks whilst having some stamina left if the battle draws out

Is 3-60 more popular on DranDagger than 5-60 or 9-60?
I prefer 3-60 on DranDagger Point so that I can use 9-60 on Ball and 5-60 on another combo.
