Man the action was amazing! Thank you so much for the HUGE shoutout! That under water footage though!!! Crabber Grabber family is grateful for you man! Good luck on the next trip, fingers crossed the male keepers are out there next time!

Well, today is June 1 and I'm watching a crabbing video. I always watch Chris. I appreciate him risking a camera just to enlighten us on what is going on under the water. Wish I could get my loops to stick up that well!! Those are nice snares! Thanks Chris.
I was around this area at the beginning of Feb and one more time about a week ago. It is slim pickins now compared to January. But hey, anytime I can go out there to do some snaring and get some R&R is a blessing. Bringing back crabs is just the icing on the cake.
I grew up up fishing that area but more on the beach on the other side. Never even thought of crabbing there. We threw snares on the beach and got crab. The perch game is super tight there. And if you want to hook up with a big ray just soak some anchovies. But I wouldn’t dare float around where those surfers do and get the bite from the great white. Great videos my man, keep up the entertainment.
Hey Chris, thanks for the discount. I bought the beginner's kit. Always enjoy your videos. I'm going to Dylans Beach soon. Thanks again and looking forward to your next video.
Where is this spot? If you don’t mind me asking, haven’t had any luck crabbing. Just started this year and hoping to go to a spot that assures some crab!
Nice video. Haven't been there in decades. Brought back memories of riding my board out there. Don't miss the drive. Local shoes to tear down the signs to the town.
There’s a lot of fish in and out of that spot. I’ve actually did a couple drift dives on a good vis day there. Sharks, Skates, Rays, Halibut and some Striper action now and then. Nice video Chris, see you out on the water some time
Bro idk about anyone else who loves this, but you got me screaming keeper when you measured them 🤣 🤣. But you was close urgh I wished I was able to go crabbing last weekend when I was in the bay and Bodega Bay.
Thanks for the code. Got my crabber grabber in the mail last weekend. What is that spot you are at? It looks good for someone who is disabled and cannot walk over sand rocks, etc. what part of bodega bay to get there. Thanks Chris
yeah pull by chance. Sometimes you can feel them. But generally cast and wait 10-15 mins. Hot bite more often, slow bite let it sit a little longer. Good Luck
Awesome video, Chris! I have never been snaring, but always wanted to try :-) I will be picking up 2 CrabberGrabbers so I will be ready for my 1st attempt. Can't wait! I will have to see where I will want to try them first.
yeah its so much fun plus the reward is a dungeness crab. Those snares will increase your odds of landing one. Bring different size weights to adjust to the current. good luck
Absolutely love snarring. Went out yesterday for my birthday, no limit but had enough Dungeness and huge rock crabs for dinner. Excellent video. Where were you fishing?
Hi Darren, yeah tough to decide on that. Felt like the right move since they were borderline keepers and the females already have half the meat the males do. Thanks for watching
Hi Chris I’m a new boater and been watching your videos hence I caught the bug and finally boat my own boat. Been watching you and Thuy (247 Fishing ) ever since. And appreciate all your videos and sharing your experiences love it . Hope to see you out there someday.

hey chris i love that spot, one of my favorite places to fish/crab, what were the tides when you went? i always have the tide ripping through when im there
Good video and good on you for letting the females go. I have a boat too and I know since I get out all the time I can catch crab next time if I don't have a great haul that day. I wouldn't have had an issue if you did keep them. Following the regs and if they allow you to keep females then no one should give you a hassle for it. Up here in Vancouver Island BC, Canada we cannot keep any females. Come up sometime if you want to fish somewhere new and I'll take you out on my aluminum boat.
I snared the same place, but the beach a few years back with my son. We snared 32 crabs in a few hours and only 3 were males. We let every crab go till just before we left. We kept 5 legal females. 3 hours one way to get there, we were going to eat a few. They needed more males in the area.
