  • Hello friends. Children grow up and evolve faster than we think. Most adults look back on the early years of childhood with fond memories but the adolescent years are rarely missed. This video shares my views on how long are children are really our children. In my opinion, the time we spend during the first 10 years are critical. This is why I have dedicated so much time to my children’s upbringing despite having a busy career. I would love to hear what others think.

I 100% agree with you. I am privileged to be able to homeschool my daughter and I know the fact that she has been home with me for the first 4.5 yrs of her life has made a big impact on her. It provides for a rich relationship between the two of us also. Even if you don't stay at homw with your children, it is important to give them your time and attention whenever you can.

This is a great message. I am happy to see a father so involved in their kids life. I appreciate being able to connect with other fathers that are in the trenches like myself. I have a 6 y/o daughter and 4 y/o son that we home school. I would like to connect with other dads and or parents like you. Ado in Houston.

It’s biblical! Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are older they will not depart from it 🙌🏻 love this!

This is so accurate. I was 13 yo when I left home to go continue my studies in a different country. But, by then, my dad had drilled in my head strong values and principles. I got the attention needed as a young child. With that solid base acquired, teenage peer pressure was never an issue for me as a strong willed teen. I am still thankful for the defining mindset that short period of life created in me, till this day. Now, I am doing the same with my son. Thank you for sharing this important message. Your content is very motivational

This is such good advice! Thank you so much for your chanel. I’m a physician as well and have chosen to spend some time away from traditional practice for now while my kids are so young (ages 5,3 and 1). My oldest does a hybrid homeschool program and it was the best thing we ever did for him. I know we made the right choice and it will pay off! Thank you for speaking on this.

My father a blk retired math teacher use to have me crying as a child at the kitchen table when concerning math my mother use to ask if i was stupid years later in high school. I ask my father who graduated from famu " Dad maybe I can go to college maybe I can do it " he responded iam not college material and I believed him cause my father said it.. my confidence was very low, I told my mother I can be a good dr she responded "I am not smart enough" And at 18 they divorced I've been struggling ever since...
It starts in the household. ...
