- I had uploaded a video of ALTORZ iCNG Mileage few days ago. I was getting very poor mileage after filling CNG for the first time. That's why I decided to make a proper video again.
This video is made after running the car for about 700 kms. 1st service is still due. Please watch the entire video for all.deails.
Calculation for CNG mileage on Highway
Please note:
AC was on for the entire journey. Car was packed with 4 passengers including driver and bootspace was also fully loaded. The average speed was around 70-80kmph.
Meter Reading: 8.11KG
Total kms run: 231.6
Mileage: 231.6 ÷ 8.11 = 28.55 km/kg

In citi muze. 24KM ka average Mila. 9.1 KG main 220KM chali altroz CNG
share a screen shot, because in city toe to toe traffic is next to impossible,

Bro there are many good cars in this segment and most famousones are baleno and alrroz. But I would suggest you to decide depending on your requirements and budget. Baleno has a smoother engine, more mileage and good service network across India.
Im not saying all these things in tata are not good. It's just that Maruti is better than Tata in these things.
Tata on the other hand has better build quality and offers many features in top segments.
Also there are many new cars which have been launched recently like Punch, Fronx, Exter, etc. I would suggest you check and test ride all of them and then decide according to your budget and requirements.

Thanks.Hello, Can you please test and share on full tank of CNG (at full 200 Bar pressure) how many tentative KMs (end to end) does this Tata Altroz CNG car runs in bumper to bumper traffic of city driving?
I have done this test and I got very poor mileage initially... But now it has improved a bit in city bumper to bumper traffic... I get around 110kms approx on full tank CNG in city traffic... I live in Delhi and I ride my vehicle approx 50kms daily and 90% of my route is very heavy traffic... My AC is always on... So considering these conditions 13.7km/kg is the mileage I get in the city...
@@710jenson Thanks for the response. But isn't this on a very low side (considering CNG vehicle) despite driving in bumper to bumper city traffic. Reason being I am using aftermarket fitted CNG in my i10 and despite all odds (means heavy traffic ) it runs atleast 180 km.
@@Tedhi.Lakeer yes you are correct... I was also very shocked due to this... That's why I made a proper test for highway to check if there is a problem with my vehicle and the CNG performance turned out to be great.
As I have mentioned my route has heavy traffic... My journey is about 24kms one way... It usually takes 35 mins during the night with no traffic.... But I travel during peak hours and I take 1 hour 45 mins for the same .... Sometimes in the evening it can even more than 2 hrs.... All this while the AC is on.... Trust me when I say heavy traffic... I'm have mentioned approx 110kms based on my few experiences.... Will give an exact number soon...

So this means it's more sensible in current times to buy Suzuki CNG cars (Swift, Baleno, Fronx , Wagonr etc....) if someone is having a higher daily run ( say greater than 50 KMs ) and also needs a decent cost savings (means via better mileage). Did you tried and check this low mileage thing of TATA Altroz with there service center as with total 60 litre cylinder capacity ( 30 + 30 ) we do expect atleast in bumper to bumper city traffic (with AC on) atleast a full CNG tank run of 180 KMs.

Meri car Low mileage on icng 17 to 19 on fixed routeof 40km,total run 1400km.

Bro mujhe bhi city mei kafi low mileage mil rha tha..m mera daily route qareeb 50kms ka hai and uspe bhot heavy traffic hota hai... AC on rehta hai .. toh mujhe CNG full krne par 95-105 kms ka total run milta tha... Which is about 13km/kg mileage on Cng... Even I was very shocked due to this ... But I realised ki mera route hi Aisa hai toh zyada farak nahi padega... Meine fir yeh video banayi taki highway pe actual test ho sake... Aur highway pe mujhe average mila
@@710jenson 40 km ki running h meri bhi and negligible traffic 18 ki mileage nikal rhi h cng me,… fir to thik hi hai agr highway pr 28 tak de rhi h ye gadi.

Apke wale same route par any suzuki cng wale se puch kar compare kariye if possible taki sahi baat pata chale
Bhai sukuki se koi comparison h nhi iska, suzuki ki gadi bahut halki hoti h to 31 32 to per kg aa jati h.
I am a suzuki owner. Plus suzuki ka engine still more refined h.
If you want to have solid build then i think this is a good average, also as this is new car after few more kms you can get more mileage as well as you get comfortable with car

Bhai city mei kaafi kam milega as compared to other brand cars... Mujhe 105kms milta hai CNG full tank mei... Iski main wajah ye hai ki mere route mei bhot heavy traffic hota hai... Almost 50kms chalti hai gaadi har roz... One way approx 25kms... Aur ye 25kms pahuchne mei mujhe almost 2hrs lagte hai... Toh aap soch lo kitna traffic hoga... iske alawa AC bhi on rehta hai Mera full time... Inn sab chizo ke Karan mujhe 105-110 kms se zyada nhi mil paya full tank mei... Baki brands jese Baleno isse kafi zyada mileage deti city mei... Aisa nhi hai ki mileage kharab hai... but bhot acha bhi nhi hai... Aapko ye gaadi lete waqt compromise krna padega
Bhai mera amaze se me daily meerut jata hu modinagar ka badiya traffic milta he phir bhi mera cng tank mene aajtak 200 se km me fill nhi krwaya iska mileage kuch bhi nhi he Honda amaze ke aage

I gave the average of 24 on highway...speed 100-110
In city it was giving the average of 15-16...

Bhai engine se vibration to nahi aati haina ?
You can feel the vibrations sometimes at very low speeds on 1st & 2nd gear...
But it's not something to worry about since it's a 3-cylinder engine the nature of the engine is such...
These vibrations are quite normal and not a deal breaker...
Bro which one to buy, punch iCNG Top end or altroz iCNG top end.
Bro when I went to purchase the vehicle... Tata Punch CNG was not launched... So I went ahead with Altroz...
If I had the option right now... I would go for Punch for sure.... But it completely depends on your preferences... Do you prefer a comfortable laid back riding experience which you get in hatchback... Or an upright SUV like experience which you get in punch... Both are good city cars but I believe punch is more value for money as it is cheaper than Altroz...

Initially when I bought the car I was getting very low mileage... 70-75... After around 500kms it got some improvement...
Then I did this highway test and I got excellent mileage... ie 232km... This is bcz road conditions were very good and the car was going at 70-80 kmph with low and stable RPM... Thereby giving maximum fuel efficiency... If you ride it at lower speed like 60-70 kmph in highway you might get even more mileage...

Bhai tank to tank ka matlab seekh le pehle kya hota hai... Log tank to tank isliye karwate hai taki petrol pura khatam na ho jaye and gaadi dhakka na lagana pade... Jb CNG gadi ho toh fuel capacity pata hai sbko 8kg hai ... Pressure ke hisab se next time kam ya zyada bhi bhar skta hai... Isliye ek full tank bhar kar empty hone Tak kitna chali gadi woh calculate krke average nikala hai... Jab CNG 0% ho jati hai toh gadi petrol pe switch karti hai...
