With Cacophony, bricks are NOT infinite bottles. In Outlast trials, Bottles have a side effect called "hyperfocus" (explain by Kotzwurst) which means that enemies will ignore all other noises when they go to investigate. That effect is extremely powerful but Bricks with Cacophony don't share this effect.
is this effect on bottles exclusively with cacophony? I havent payed much attention to bottles doing that (without it anyway as i dont use cacophony) seems like they'll hear me no matter what

What I find annoying about Hide and Heal is that from the sound of it it will gove you a bigger heal early on when you might not be in trouble but say you are like really late into the trial and out of healing items, you might just die
For real? Last Time I used Noise Reduction I think I remember jumping and jumping through things making a lot of noise so I didn't look into jumps as part of this video as that isn't even a part of the description 😭
You underestimated short circuit and hide and restore. The combination of these 2 amps = no cooldown. You need to equip both short circuit and hide and restore.
Yup I know, I had made a short trying to showcase that I was wrong and that Hide n Restore with Short Circuit is amazing and I do mention it as part of the synergies/loadout part of the video !

Lock Breaker lets you spam stuns (what I use), any difficulty below psychosurgery you get 4 inv slots (3 if psychosurgery), most objectives dont rely on needing to use inventory slots (besides hearts) and usually if I really need an item I will familiarise its location, only time I can see backpack would be good is if its limited inventory 2 on one of the heart trials (so escalation only) that was my though process for putting it at C
@Bluriate The QOL of backpack has corrupted my brain too much I feel naked without it. Good tierlist and video, and I agree with it all but I just love my backpack too much lol

I use recycle with strong arm and boosted. Along with the stun rig. Because I like to distract. And I always find health bottles everywhere. Especially if I spawn with a health boost. Cacophony is good for setting up with the blind rig imo. Wouldn’t pair it with strong arm though. But that’s just me. Keep up the good work

They gotta rework Keymaster to where you spawn in with a master key. Do this Red Barrels and i will start maining X-Ray. Also not gonna lie,Strong Arm is so overrated against Witnesses. In the end you still need 2 bricks so you can achieve the same outcome as 2 bricks without strong arm. Remote>Throw>Wait cooldown and throw broken brick again> Remote >Throw second brick>Wait for cooldown to be done and throw the 2nd broken brick>Last Remote to kill Witness. In the end the same result as strong arm. Strong arm mostly just delays the Task completion because if the Witness is crawling around they will not explode,they only explode when standing up. Basically in the end strong arm is more of a disadvantage
Hmm I find it validating with how much easier the witnesses are to do with strong arm but yeah without it can be better if you can pull it off consistently
As a new player enamored with the game, (got it 3 days ago and already have completed a 10 level escalation) I find it kind of discouraging to see the immense disparity in the skills. There are clearly some with such powerful abilities, and some with niche and semi useful ones at best. I might play around with different builds and setups, but i do wish there was some balancing involved. Ive spoken with seasoned players of the game, and when asked they replied that the game receives few and far between updates. Theyve just released a 2025 roadmap and I dont see anything talking about touching up the skills. Its disheartening to think that the game likely wont recieve the qol changes that i believe would keep people engaged for a long time to come. I guess we'll have to see.
Yeah a lot of these underwhelming AMPs have been the way they are for a long time so I doubt they'll get touched, the next 3 months will be rough but when the Updates come, its usually a lot of fun and a good time
Escalation is a different story for a few of these but NOT for Hide and Breathe (Thats the main one I remember saying that for) Just gotta be smart with your stamina consumption so you dont put yourself in a bad situation
@ I agree with being smart about it, but the perk opens up some crazy Hail Mary runs. And Idk if you’ve ever just finished a chase and unluckily ended it in front of a bad guy. I’m level 30 so maybe my opinion will change later, but offensive hide and breathe exists just fyi
@@ProgrammedForFailure Yeah Theres been instances where you end up running into an enemy but I find the animation to go hide and hop out takes too long leading the enemy to wait right outside until youve hopped out to get a cheap hit on you, I'd like this amp but I have had a lot of bad cases with just hiding in general which makes me ignore this AMP

Hyperfocus can also be triggered by bashing doors or broken glass. Not exclusive to bottles but brick are to quiet for this

Noise reduction also muffle your jump sound... Like when you jump through the obstacle, it will make only 1 bar of sound

Lately I’ve had a lot of fun with jammer and lock breaker+strong arm. Together they let me stock up on throwables so I’m not completely defenseless

Backpack in C-tier as a solo player is criminal imo. That amp is the only one I refuse to take off lol.
