I love this show when I saw it in August 2019. My only gripe is that I wished that the staging was more grand. It is a Vegas show and the stage felt so sparse until the "Any Time, Any Place" section with the voyeuristic backdrop.
The choreography and dance execution is amazing ... JANET killed this .... they just need better production costumes, props, lighting ... it’s way too dull and empty on stage it really doesn’t highlight the moments ... that’s the only complaint ... cause I just can see the potential.... besides that it’s incredible performance
Totally agree, I saw this show live and it felt very empty especially for a Vegas residency. I loved HER but I left feeling like it should have been even greater
@@matthewfallabel3486 Sad how singers work their asses off for so long and their performance not perfect or obtuse on my standard or so-called fans standard they complain well I’m a real fan I’ll love it no matter what I don’t care how the performances and to me if you got a complaint like that so you’re not a real fan Ruffin for support no matter what and not complain and praise that ours because you have your asses off and I’m not gonna have a perform perfect Joe all the time time it’s sad how you make them feel like they’re not good enough fans do that
@@tammiepage6489 he just voicing his opinion. And for a Vegas residency it was indeed rather dark and dry for as bright joyful and colorful as Janets music is. So it was missing that compared to her other tours.
Horrible for a vegas show.....no wonder it only did 16 or so shows and not renewed.....I think she will come back now better and bring her life back! She is losing her "meat" again! I cannot wait!
@@thomashard5452 she didn't want to continue with the Vegas residency lol this was supposed to be a taste of what's to come for the Black diamond world tour but then COVID happened a year later . And this small residency was very successful for only 16 shows
