The hidden gem that deserves so much more love in my opinion is Lost in Random! Check it out if you haven’t, the world building and combat system is truly so captivating 💜
One of the developers of Slash/Jump here. Wow! What a joy to be featured on this list! Definitely wasn't what i was expecting to see when i woke up hehe. Its especially impactful because we're featured right next to Bzzzt which was one of the biggest inspirations for the game. Thank you so much for the feature!
Thank you very much for these videos When you mentionned Slash/Jump was free, I paused the video and directly went to play it. It is indeed a charming indie gem, that hopefully would be extended to a full game one day
I'm not sure how "hidden" they are but I've rarely heard anyone mention Carto, which is delightful, and Haven, which contains some of the best voice acting/relationship depiction I've ever seen in games.
Haven's an interesting choice. I didn't really gel with it. Some of the dialogue is also not for the prudent. Carto on the other hand is wonderful choice - loved that one.
Great recommendations on here! Islets, Bzzzt and Night Stones have been on the wishlist for a while, and the demo for Wilmot Works It Out fully sold me! They definitely deserve more love 💜
The game's controls are described as 'like playing an FPS with inverted controls' so I don't care if it's free, I can't be bothered with what sounds like a total pain in the ass.

Our pleasure - wonderful game that as we said in the video we would happily have paid for.

Awesome to hear, that was the plan in featuring it in this video. Cheers!

I really enjoy playing Carto. I have a handful of games that i play during winter months, Carto being one of them.
My fav hidden gems are the Frog Detective Trilogy
They are so funny
Still have to get to Willmot Works Out. My gem is Thank Goodness You're Here 🎉
Thank Goodness You're Here is such a delight. Loved every little bit of it.
If we are recommending bullet hell type games, can I please add that Rogue: Genesia is simply one of the best out there.....
A pretty hidden gem in metroidvania genre is Worldless, which has gorgeous visuals and unique take on turn-based combat
That's new to us. Thanks for the suggestion.
I've already played God of Weapons thanks to Reggie.
Slash Jump is such a gem! Thank you!

Thank you for recommending 'Night Stones'. Just finished it in one sitting and had a great time. :)
I adore Wilmot Works it Out! Glad to see it featured here
Hidden gem, hidden gem...words, I never saw you talking about the greatest indie gem of all times Baldo the guardian Owls❤
Ahah, Baldo capolavoro nostrano
you should do a video about fishing games!!!
That’s something I really know nothing about. There goes the rest of the afternoon though. Thanks for the suggestion.
Technically Dredge is a fishing game, right ?
The game's controls are described as 'like playing an FPS with inverted controls' so I don't care if it's free, I can't be bothered with what sounds like a total pain in the ass.
As we mention, the controls are a challenge at first but they do become easier after a short while.
I need a beat games list
They are all listed with links in the video description.
@@GetIndieGaming Thank you, do you have your list of best indie fun games like the ones in this video for the entire year of 2024?
Where is the name of the game? Why aren’t you listing the. And of the games?
