Another reason *_not to buy_* XP Bonus Pools in the Z-Store (for 600Z): The First Contact Day Badge Box gives one account-bound 150K Experience Bonus Pool item every day - per character (!) - once you've claimed all available badges. On new chars, one adds +50% to all XP earned and lasts beyond level 50. And on max captains, it gives (almost) an additional specialization point every 2 points.
We always load up on them for making new toons. Great info video Boss wish we could get this out to all the new players STO can be a nasty grind without the bonus boosts.

Glad I bought most of the cheap stacks of of r&d bonuses an hour before this went up and every remembered there was a way to be less annoyed with the weeks long wait for an absolutely neccesary space wizard trait.
There's a vendor on the Starbase & Fleet Colony that sells Duty Officers. They have some VR options that can drop some ok doffs that may sell for a few mil.
One additional advise: do not put your fleet marks into the "upload surplus marks" project. You receive only half the credits for that. That's hostile game design.
This is one of those back pocket things that I always break out when grinding or on a new character. Alot of great and time saving info in this video.

Not surprised, wasn't a ton under 500k, so only a few people going in would have wiped out the cheap ones.
Apparently there's no way of viewing your pools on console... great design, very well thought out. 🙄
