In case if the sound from your android device is only coming out of earphone but not from speakers then:
Restart the android device.
The first thing what you do is press the volume up button to check if the volume is high enough so that you can hear the volume.
Check if you have bluetooth speaker connected to the bluetooth speaker.
The next thing you need to make sure that the android device is not stuck in headphone mode.
When you press the volume up or volume down mode then check what icon you see.
If you see this volume icon then your phone is not stuck in headphone mode.
If your android phone is stuck in headphone mode then take a ear cleaning bud and then insert inside the headphone jack and remove any dirt present inside the headphone jack.
Also take a sharp needle and put inside the headphone hole and then gently rotate inside. Now check if the sound comes out of the speaker or not.
Also if you figure out this problem started after installing certain apps then uninstall those application.
You can press on the speaker area gently to check if it works.
The last thing you can do is to take your android device to the factory state mode to check if the software is corrupted.
When nothing happens then you have to take it to the technician.

@@Moon-qy2fc First I took an earbud and cleaned the headset hole well...then I took a safety pin and gently moved it into the headset hole ...And then I stirred it in a circular motion until the sound returns.(Be careful)😊

Thank you so much! 😭🔥 The reason as you explained was because there's something wrong with the Audio Jack. The phone felt like its Jack was plugged, that's why you see the Headset icon at the top, even though nothing is connected

I tried what you said in shutting off the Bluetooth. I just installed a brand new audio chip to replace the old one that did the very same thing. Audio comes through a set of ear buds but nothing comes through the speaker itself. Volume is set at max while testing

Thank you so much, Fixed my mom's phone by Uninstalling Google meet. Since I install this app, this problem has been on and off for a while now. Whenever my mom's phone is having a sound issue, the icon that appears when I push the volume up(or down) is the call icon, the multimedia icon is right beside it(gray) and not going up or down(unmoving), when I manually swipe it, it still doesn't work.
it's the call volume instead that is moving(there's no ongoing call Btw) when I push the up/down button.
Shared my experience in case others have the same issue as mine.

Hey don't worry about it...today it happened with me too n i tried many tricks but nothing work then for my meeting I had used a different headphone I tested that and that was working so then I again tried it with earphones and believe me I really don't know how it started working automatically 😌😊

IF ALL ELSE FAILS: DO A FACTORY RESET AS YOUR FINAL TROUBLESHOOTING STEP. YOU MIGHT BE SUPRISED AS I WAS WHEN THIS FIXED THE SOUND PROBLEM For MY WIFE'S PHONE! ;-)
I couldn't hear sound from my Note 10 Lite speakers. What I did: went to "Settings", then "Device Care", clicked on "Optimize". This solved my issue. Hope it helps!

Most likely the ground side is not making connection properly but does connect while earbuds are inserted, therefore the audio gets through using the earbuds but not to the speaker section, Replace the "Charger/ear-bud board" and the speaker will work once more for you. Be careful as repair should be done by a qualified person. There are 14 very, very small screws to take out just to loosen the back plate and remove. They can be very easily lost and even harder to find again. If you don't know what you are doing, get hold of someone that does know. That will fix the problem properly.
