Mera Piya Ghar Aaya rendered by Sabri Brothers in a beautiful classical andaz along with wonderful poetic introduction in various languages. This item was performed during the SAARC festival of 1992 in India. The Sabri Brothers were representing Pakistan in this festival. To skip the words of the host, jump directly to 1:09.
Main Vocalists: Haji Ghulam Farid Sabri & Haji Maqbool Ahmed Sabri
Hamnawas include Kamal Sabri (playing swarmandal) and Mehmood Sabri (playing bongos). Young Amjad Sabri can also be seen in chorus clapping and sometimes playing tambourine.
