If they ever take this video down - I don’t what I will do. I look back on your singing then and think how wonderful - no wonder I fell in love with your voice. You gave it all you got that day and now look at you. You are even more vital. And this high note is unbelievable. You sir, are the greatest.
A very fine voice, but comparable with Pavarotti? No. He has neither the latter's shining brilliance nor total security on top. To hear the young Pavarotti in the same music, try this: ua-cam.com/video/0Kt2D3rhCoA/v-deo.html
@@alanhowe1455 I totally agree, artists of the calibre of Pavarotti don't come along very often and although Freddie has a lovely voice he is just not in the same league.
@@alanhowe1455 sorry but Pavarotti is the most overrated tenor ever. If he’d been around the Corelli, del Monaco, do Stephano, etc era he would have been second division.
@@jean-marcevans1439 Untrue. His recorded legacy proves otherwise. In any case, he was not a true spinto like Del Monaco or Corelli, so the only valid comparison is with the great di Stefano - and we all know what happened to his voice by the time he was only 40! Pavarotti would have been first division in any era, as would the three great tenors you mentioned.
@@olafeklund6200 More a Corelli, Pavarotti was essentially and by his own admission, a lyric tenor who could sing some heavier roles, not a true Lirico Spinto.
I predict they will evrntually say this is the greatest opera singer ever to be born in England [not Wales, Australia or New Zealand] and that an Engiish king will make him a knight.
Could Freddie de Tommaso join the two tenors,Deigo Flores and the Maltese tenor,to become the next Three Tenors to sing together ,like L.Pavarotti,J.Carreras and P. Domingo?!As soon as such events are possible again.

I can't believe he already sounded like this at only 24! I think he's one of the brightest new stars. I adore the color of his voice.
What an amazing voice, such range. We will be seeing much more of this brilliant tenor. Leaves the others in his wake.
The best, magical
His voice is so even and smooth, with great beauty. I bought his album and I think him something quite special.
Agree
A very emotional and INTELLIGENT performance. Someone completely new to me with obvious talent and great potential. Another Utube gem.
A voice with a lot of great potential!
His range is fantastic. I have been waiting for someone comparible to Pavarotti for a long time and here he is. But brilliant in his own right

Superb!
bellissima voce
Fenomenal 👌🏼
I’m not an opera lover. But I love him.
Just Wow......
indiscutible!
Così giovane e già grande.Voce assolutamente strepitosa.

Nobody beats Gigli in this
NOBODY
It is a pity that the sound is not at all good
If I'd heard this voice "blind" I would have guessed I was listening to Franco Corelli
Por Dios!!! No diga barbaridades. Corelli no tenia la voz engolada.
@douglas, please, don't.
No. Never. Never. and Never.
Sorry. He has just good Voice poor technic..
To sing like this at that age!! Shame he's not getting much help from the conductor..

Nasale. Damned the guy is good, but who are teaching those poor fellows:(((
Nasal?
