Great bike. I had a 1973 CB 500 four in the late 70s. Rode it from Little Rock to California and back twice, as well as touring much of the southeast. It's funny, back then a lightweight streetbike was 125-200 cc. Middleweights were 360-500 cc, while heavyweights were the 750s to 1000s. A Harley Big Twin was off the charts at 1200 cc. I thought nothing of hitting the road for a 2000-3000 mile road trip on the Honda--- that's what motorcycles were for. Nowadays, a 500 is viewed as a beginner's bike. 15 years ago I bought a 1974 CB 550 four, stock original (it still had its Sears & Roebuck tires!) that wore that same Sunburst Orange paint. Gorgeous, great bike. Love the SOHC, air cooled, kickstart Honda CBs. These days I have four pre-86 HDs, and just picked up a beautiful 1967 Triumph T100C Trophy 500.
