We need a compilation of every single time this motif has played in Parts 1 and 2. It's my absolute favorite one, and I hope it becomes the main theme of Dune Messiah. It sounds fitting

What's ironic about this is that one of the tracks from the first film is called "Holy War" and here, you can hear the hints of said cue into one. You can also hear parts of "The One" and "Blood for Blood" as well. Making it sound very fitting. I do like that this is one of the more darker, creepier and gloomier tracks for part 2. Love the bass heavy churning strings, low rumbling drones, sinister choirs and just the overall haunting atmosphere that it was aiming for. Strangely enough, I was getting hints of The Dark Knight, Batman v Superman and Gladiator and Dark Phoenix in this. In fact, one of the things I like for the second film is hearing familiar cues from the first film but hearing some new elements/remixes added to them, giving them a sense of continuity. The whole soundtrack felt like Dune 1.5 if I had to describe it. Hopefully, we'll get a Sketchbook and The Art & Soul of Dune: Part 2 this year. If not, I'll be very disappointed.
Right? I like Hans he's been recycling his tracks too often just like Horner did in the past, and I love these 2 composers. The ominous string/synth motif is ripped off from "Watch the World Burn" in TDK, with a bit more variation in pitch. Besides the main track, the rest of his soundtrack is literally re-used from Gladiator, which he himself admitted. (Ok exaggeration, "inspired")
