deliberately knocked into touch, thats a penalty, in this instance it stopped the try from being scored and therefore, a penalty try was awarded

Oscar Self If he had slapped the ball inside keeping it in play then it would of been perfectly legal, however, deliberately knocking or throwing the ball into touch is a penalty
