If you listened to Youngblood before (the song), you'll noticed they've reused some of it like the bass and the snaps/claps. 5SOS are musical genuises!! I'm so proud: they did an amazing job of covering Queen (which is pretty hard to do) and in top of that stuck to the original format (much respect to the band and the producer). Plus, the fact that they recorded the harmonies together instead of doing it seperately just proves how talented they are. They actually got so comfortable with layering vocals they did it on a couple songs on their new album, CALM. By the way, "mate, it is balsamic" is an iconic joke. All of this to say that I love 5SOS (been a fan since the beginning) and that behind the scenes is so cool and funny to watch.
This cover was actually one of the first things by them I ever heard, because it got a lot of airtime on my local pop radio station. These guys are crazy and fun and cool and it's just awesome to get to see what they're like in the studio. Fun fact, that producer Matt is now the drummer Ashton's housemate and helped Ash write and produce his solo album Superbloom during covid quarantine (which you DEFINITELY should react to!!!). Love your 5SOS videos!
So many of us would have loved to have seen the bts footage of the instruments too. Love their tenacity in laying down so many tracks to end up with the awesome finished product.

7:50 on stage they use machines but during acoustic performances usually their drummer Ashton does the clapping or finger snapping :)
