I did an experiment with the high note in Tiger Inside and Taeyon's high note in this and put them together because they hit the exact same note and I swear, they sounded so similar. The technique they used is the same.
@@mkd1095 Someone said that they had been trained together so no wonder they use a similar technique in singing. But I must say that their voices sound closer to each other than other SM artists. I did not try comparing their voices with any applications but to my gut feelings after listening to KPOP in general and SM songs in particular for over 13 years, 3:10 is exactly how Byun Baek Hyun usually sounds like.

Baek in Tiger Inside doesn't sound like Tae much (from +3 semitones 50 cents to +4 semitones 50 cents) maybe because he hit high notes sharply and quickly. We need to hear him lengthen the notes, put more control and vibratos to examine. But from 2:19 to 2:20 and the last two adlibs he resembles Tae a bit.
Another song is Is it me (Love of the red sky) with +4 semitones. HE SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE TAEYEON (of course with some awkwardness) I SWEAR OMG LMAO 😂😂😂 including the falsetto. But actually Baek's voice in the female version is lighter and more tender, it's like a mix of Tae, Seo and Sica.
@@seliespreadlove uhm. Taeyeon debuted 2007.... Baekhyun was added to the line up of EXO 11 months before debut in 2012. They never train together. Maybe Suho and Kai trained with SNSD with Seulgi and Johnny but Baekhyun and Chen became trainees around 2011, getting ready to debut. What I can tell you is they might have the same vocal teacher/s.

Why lucas got little line?
The reason why Lucas got so few lines isn't because I hate Lucas or anything negative. It's just that Step Back has very few rap lines and in GOT, 5 out of 7 members are vocals, so it's not possible to divide the lines fairly for everyone. You would think Lucas could sing more like that but this song has too many high notes and I think he just doesn't fit those lines :(( If GOT comes out with a new song, I will do "How would SuperM sing" and will give Lucas more lines to sing (if the song is less high note than Step Back)!
