Singing this for PMEA district 7 choir. Easily one of my favorite pieces from the repertoire. It was the audition piece and the first song in a large group such like districts. It will forever have a special place in my heart.
Ms. Teasdale's poem: There will be rest, and sure stars shining Over the roof-tops crowned with snow, A reign of rest, serene forgetting, The music of stillness holy and low. I will make this world of my devising Out of a dream in my lonely mind. I shall find the crystal of peace, - above me Stars I shall find.

Sung this as a part of county choir, back in high school it brings back so many memories
Exquisite. No other word can describe it.
Conducted by David Haas! One of my favourite composers.
Wonderful!
It kind of sounds like the works of Eric Whitacre
