The wearing of masks was popular in Japan long before COVID came along. The Japanese government has greatly reduced any requirements to wear them, however, many Japanese still choose to wear them. I only wear them on mass transit or when indoors around many Japanese people.
@@lifeintheleftlane I live in Sweden and have never worn a mask. Thank God the Swedish government was the only one in the world that handled this epidemic correctly.
