Enjoyed that very much John, my ancestors came from Kirkcubright in the 1700s, moving north following the Railways and Coal Mining into Dumfries, then Ayrshire then Lanarkshire & Linlithgowshire, so I spend time down in that area when I can, will surely look out for that place..JK
Les, I just went to your channel to see if you'd posted a video of your trip and realised that it was your video that I saw last week! I'd never heard of it until I saw your video! I've subscribed!
Lol small world John but it is a great location and will be great in the autumn maybe meet you there next time thanks for subscribing I'm just starting out with my UA-cam channel cheers again 👍📷@@JohnMcKennaPhotography
Lovely location john reflection in the water with the wonderful shades of green make for really nice photos ..👍 also enjoyed the stores of Scotland on your sister channel 👍
My kind of place, John, never been to either, definitely well worth a visit. As you mentioned the deep Greens and yellows were lovely. I wonder when the Summer will start this year🤞🤞
Thanks Douglas. I'd definitely recommend a trip. There are two options for parking, one on either side of the bridge and both are less than 60 ft from the bridge and the access paths, so it's a nice easy location to get to
It's a new location for me too - I've never heard of it. But it's on my list now. There seems to be a lot of history there too, from Covenanters to witches. Beautiful work as always. Loving the long exposures.
Rocky stream, moss covered boulders, moody weather: These are my favorite types of images. Very nice! Keep them coming. I live in the USA and look for these types of places.
great shot. looks as though the boulder is floating , quality. thanks for sharing.
@@robertsouthall-o6j thanks!
Great shots John, we are going to spend a few days in Dumfries so may pay the Bridge a visit to grab a few shots myself , Thank you
