Seeing this video has given me a glimpse of the intellectual prowessof these brilliant young men. Not only are they talented and skilled in their craft, they are wonderful entertainers. Avril Bowler saw them last night in Manchester and the sense of fun was still there but also real emotion as Michael relayed the story of him stuck in Caribbean and the others fought to get him home and he actually started to cry and set the others off just before Lighthouse.

I find it hilarious that after Tom messed up that the line afterwards that he sings with Michael was "Do you remember what we used to say" as he obviously didn't for that night and completely forgot and went straight back to "I'll be your lighthouse" before realising and looked absolutely traumatised hahaha. Damn, love Tom, such a funny lil bean, a special lil bean
It is very nice to see that the connections between You have changed. That You can make more jokes, that You may make mistakes, and that the fun becomes a part of the show. Many years ago the singing was beautiful, but it was all stiff, there was almost no room for fun or jokes or entertainment in that area. Now it is nice to see and hear the fun in between You. I like that very much, it adds realness to Your show. My compliments. Go on. I love You still, and even more ... 😘😘😘😘, one kiss for each one of You, and if You kiss back, we go on.... p.s when will you do the tour in The Hague?
I know right! I think the influence of just the four guys has made it better because I feel as though with Richard and them as a quintet that they had to be really stiff, strict and serious all the time and, it was awful as they always looked so awkward and uncomfortable. The thing is though, since Richard up and left for swing music and made the other members of Collabro sound like villains (in which they totally are not), they've been so much more comfortable on stage and freer and the fact that they can laugh and joke around now is amazing and, I hate to even think that it was Richard that was influencing them to be so stiff as, I'm just really hoping as sad and even more restricting as it sounds that it was Syco but, if it wasn't Syco and it was Richard, then that's awful and completely unfair as, now, with their own record label, they are so much more free and independent and it's amazing to see them so happy and comfortable on stage!
Matt reminds me of my son. He doesn't really look like him but when he talks and sings his whole face smiles. That got my son out of alot of trouble in school and I bet Matt got away with a bunch too!!!
Unfortunately, I never had the chance to experience or meet you live. But I like you very much. You have great voices and you are very funny as I could see in your videos. I wish you all a great future and good luck in whatever you do. ❤🙋♀️

He decided he wanted a solo career and left to sing "Swing" music. That genre's great but as a career, unsastainable. He made up some story about disharmony in the group as an excuse to leave. His problem is when they found him on youtube, his was a solo career, but being in a group it was about them and not him. So, he left.
I remember watching them on their first audition. They were amazing but I have to say to my surprise they just keep getting better. So happy for you guys. You deserve all you have accomplished. Bless you all. Your families must be so proud
