Can’t look at Dartmoor without thinking The Hound Of The Baskervilless~
Brilliant video. So much of Dartmoor to see, we've barely scratched the surface.
4 years later, I'd say you've done a pretty good job!!!
@@boiledegg6788 Getting there now, Bobby!
Have lost track of the number of times I've watched this film. I love staggeringly majestic, mystical and magically beautiful Dartmoor. This film is sheer joy to watch. The excellent editing paired with the powerful music adds drama. Whenever homesickness strikes... I watch this film... and I wish I was back there... again.
I've watched the other films with equal pleasure.
kendra hale thankyou for your kind comments on our film, we are pleased that you have been able to connect with Dartmoor through the film. If you are on facebook please feel free to share our film :-)
Visiting Dartmoor every year was a massive part of my childhood. Such a beautiful and magical place. It's a massive inspiration behind a story I am working on. Can't wait to return to the UK to visit Dartmoor again, I haven't been in 9 years since moving to Australia
I live on Dartmoor, only when I look at it from a outsiders perspective do I realise how wonderful it truly is. :)
@@adventurepeaks4514 - I live 3000 miles from Dartmoor, and I've never been there, but I'd love to go, but apparently not enough to actually get there, but even in my own splendor, people come from around the earth to visit, as that's how it is for Dartommor as well.
You don't miss the water until the well runs dry, sort of thing, but yeah, I get it. People come from all over the world to visit where I live, but I still don't understand the fascination, even tho I clearly love it dearly. I just can't imagine what anyone else would see in it? Repetetive and foolish, when I think of it, but yeah, we wear the same shoes.
Absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!!

Oui, ***** vous avez vu cela dans la communauté des mégalithes, cette vidéo était dans le lien ... c'est vraiment magnifique!
Dramatic... to say the least.
***** This Sittaford stone circle is the first to be discovered on the high moor for well over 100 years and it fits in well with the pattern of a “sacred” arc of similar stone circles, located around the north eastern perimeter of Dartmoor. This pattern suggests some kind of planning and liaison between the communities living on Dartmoor in the late Neolithic/early Bronze Age 5,000-4,000 years ago.

Exactly. This is some of the best scenery you'll find anywhere in the south west, isn't it?
Wow! This is really gonna make people come here. We pretty much come every week! Good music!
Loved this. Gave me goose pimples. Would have loved to have seen some shots of early morning or late evening as the light on Dartmoor at that time makes it even more magical. What a wonderful home! #lovedartmoor

Just got back from four days on the moor and I loved it!! Saw so many things, loads of history both human and natural and incredibly starkly beautiful. Looking at this video I only saw a tiny fraction of the place but I saw enough to want to go back!!
Great scenery and I live near it.

komakino0 Thank you for your knid comment the music is a download from Audio Network Flying-Fortress
Who is the music by ?
Music credit? Would love to use ?
Who filmed this piece? Was it filmed by way of a 'drone'? I was under the impression that flying powered models, in fact anything bar model gliders and kites was prohibited? What is the actual regulation?
All of our aerial footage was taken from a helicopter. Drones are largely prohibited on Dartmoor, you can find out more on our website: www.dartmoor.gov.uk/visiting/vi-enjoyingdartmoor/drones
Wer muss sich das auch für die Schule anschauen /who has to watch this for school too 😂?
what is the music frommthe start of this?
Hi there, sorry for the delay in answering, the music is Flying Fortress by Christopher Ashmore/Benjamin Marks.
That’s nature
It's 30 mins from my house lol
I was under the impression that the use of Drones was NOT ALLOWED? one rule for DNPA and one rule for everyone else ???
I love the Moors and enjoy photographing at every opportunity...and as long as whoever flies their Drone and is NOT being a complete idiot should not be barred from flying....just saying
Hi @petetee2123, all aerial footage was shot with a professional team from a helicopter. Dartmoor National Park's drone regulations can be found here: www.dartmoor.gov.uk/enjoy-dartmoor/outdoor-activities/drones-and-model-aircraft
come from school
Looks tame and boring 😅😅😅was once a great forest now just a large open field farm full of sheep 😅national park my arse 😅😅😅
Grew up in Ashburton. I had to laugh...Dartmoor "dramatic !"? Errrm ? No...Dartmoor is a sleepy, with sheep and pony sown, windswept, boring, paradise. Meandering streams and rivers, forgotten barns covered in bramble patches intertwined with hedges covering stone walls leading down lanes you might think go absolutely nowhere until they pass a granite thatched cottage with geraniums on the window sills, and a hump backed bridge with just enough space for two horses to cross and an iron gate on the other side with yellow roses covering its arch.
Mist falls quickly to your feet on the moor, and even on a sunny autumn day only finding a small stream or a strip of tarmac will save you from walking circles until the next mornings sunrise.
☆ home sweet home☆
It's a horrible place stay away
Yes, please do
