Old Seemanni Tarantula Molts After 3 Years | Rare Handling with My Kids

After 3 years, my beloved Seemanni tarantula finally molted, and it was time for a rare handling session! Watch as I carefully take her out to clean her enclosure and introduce her to my excited children. We are always very careful not to harm or scare our animals too much, but I approve the occasional handling, as taking them out is necessary to keep their environment clean and healthy. She’s faster than expected (as you can hear from the reactions), and her vibrant coloration post-molt is truly stunning. Born in 2007, she's a calm but easily frightened species that never throws hairs. Here’s her molting history since I got her in 2012:
