I’m gonna deal with this issue with my ex. He already told my daughter that I’m paying for her college 😂😂. But the way I look at it is that at 18 legally neither of us are required to pay so I’ll help as much as I can. He can live with himself if he doesn’t help her at all.
I'm not informed on the legalities of college funding after a divorce, but as someone with 0 dogs in the fight it just seems odd that there would be any legal expectation for either parent. The kids are 18+ by the time college starts, isn't paying for it legally their own responsibility? I don't understand how Mom paying would mean dad has to pay, it should all be optional.

The lawyer should have the divorce decree SPECIFY who pays how much, if anything, for the kids’ college. Surprised a guy with 2 PhDs would suggest one parent bad-mouth the other, even if it’s the truth.
When did he say that she should bad mouth the ex? I think you are referring to when John was calling the guys names based on only hearing half the story. I agree that they all need to stop doing that. But yes in the divorce documents, all that should be specified and agreed to. I don't understand her lawyer mentioning that as if the ex husband can just change things later on. It's not bad mouthing. After 11 years of being divorced, my kids know the way their dad and I handle money is different and they know who has the money to help them in situations. Kids aren't stupid.
I understand what John is saying, but I think Sarah should just save the money in an account not specified as for education and in the event that she has to pay more than do it on the back end, you do the best that you can for your daughters with what you save, but don't specify as an. Educational camp because maybe her husband will try to be a schister. And pay less. Right now she could be contributing more to her retirement if she knew that her husband was going to do the right thing and pay his share, but his previous behavior has somewhat indicated that he may not do that. So I will save for education unknowingly. To everyone else, hopefully he pays his share and then all is good. But if he doesn't all is good because I've been saving. For that.
I watch the show at 1.3 speed and some of these callers are so SLOW even at that speed!! I can't imagine trying to listen in normal speed. Uggh...spit it out already.
It is not that easy to sell your car . Most times you get a cheaper car. But then they roll over the different. Because it's not worth the dollar amount because cars are not worth what you owe on them. Then, when you get a beater, you're turning around and spending 200 to 500 every couple of months having to fix it. I'm a big believer. Pay it off that way. You can have a better car that will last. You longer and more reliable.
I feel really bad for the girl at the 29 min mark. Essentially she's close to breaking up over situations. I recently had to do that when i was dating a very good person. I would rather come home and find out im cheated on than to end a good relationship over circumstances.
I could not disagree with you more about Sarah’s call. She should financially protect herself from her ex-husband. It’s difficult to understand if you have not been taken advantage of by a spouse.
Ugh. Why do they have a cruise ship singer talking about finances on this 'show?' You are NOT a financial advisor, to answer your own question with the first caller. Where, in the hell, is Dave?

That first caller…
I could not disagree with you more about Sarah’s call. She should financially protect herself from her ex-husband. It’s difficult to understand if you have not been taken advantage of by a spouse.
Ugh. Why do they have a cruise ship singer talking about finances on this 'show?' You are NOT a financial advisor, to answer your own question with the first caller. Where, in the hell, is Dave?
Thanks for the forecast! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
This episode was kinda disturbing :S. The first one was a headcase, the 2nd one seemed so controlling and the third was ropey af.
OMG... Skip... She won't shut up with extrainious crap and justifications..
Good grief, the first caller needs some new meds or something, she really can’t think clearly.
God she rumbles on.ffs
What do we do with our extra money.
Good grief
Easy to see why she is divorced
Omg the first lady....
First Lady is truly annoying.
I feel like the caller is A troll that’s still upset about the youtube shows being cut down from 2 hours 🤣😭 cuz stop playin ain’t nooooo MF way
Time stamp, please.
She is so confused 😅😅😅
Subtitle people: fiancee - the accent goes in the other direction
Why do idiots call with answers, but that's why they are idiots 🎉 like the lady who tried to find a reason to finance a car with 180,000 in debt😂
This is the worst call You have ever How did this even make It on.
Less than a minute in and already realize how annoying the first woman is.
Edit: when the “no no no no no” hit, had to leave.
I love the Ramsey show but jade is just hard to listen to.
She has the “I’m so cool and you are a loser” syndrome
@@Enginshimyou’re simply projecting
Specifically, why do you say that about Jade be specific and give me your reasons why please thank you very much I’m very!???
@ some of it was during the election when they were talking about some people not wanting to visit with other family members. She said that her and her husband were “connected” and “united” on these things. She didn’t say where she was on the political spectrum, I don’t care, it was the tone of how she said it.
@ also with some of the cheers she talks about her personal journey but it always comes off as talking down. It may just be a personality thing but she comes off as stand off ish to callers sometimes. I do like the bluntness but not every situation is one size fits all.
This show sucks now
Sadly the Ramsey show has now turned into a family drama show and they speak very little about finances.
Its like a bunch of ppl wanting to get "the tea" instead of getting straight to the point.
