A wet day in the shop is the best Mike it's obvious you enjoy winding Aaron up and he is funny you clearly work well together ,thanks for the laughs mate much appreciated Kym Adelaide
...peeps have asked ''how to do a successfull utub channel.... simple answer is : LOVE WHAT YOU DO LOVE THE PEOPLE YOU DO IT WITH AND TAKE THE OTHER PEOPLE ALONG WITH while YOU DO WHAT YOU LOVE !!!!! and your channel WILL BE SUCCESSFULL.... but if you do it ''for the likes'' or for the $$ or the CLICKES or wutever, and don't LOVE WHAT YOU DO, the people eventually WILL CALL YOU OUT ON YOUR FAKENESS....... ;) ""the people"" are harsh oh well yea... ;)
Your shenanigans with the oxy cutting reminded me of a saying Matt over at Diesel Creek sometimes uses "a grinder and paint can make me a welder I ain't".
Dirt , i was blessed to work with a Aaron for nearly 30 years. Was never a argument that didnt turn into a laugh fest and reminisce time. I know you show it, but make sure you tell him regularly , just a simple i appreciate you. Those guys are once in a lifetime . The end of every work week i would tell him "Boomer Sooner" he always said "damn right" .I didn't even like OU , LOL One week it ended up being the last time i said it to him, no regrets he was a class act.
That trailer is awesome. Glad you decided to add the work lights, great decision. But I agree, not sure how often you’ll use it. I’m also glad Arron finally got his clay pipe picking jig he’s been dreaming about. That should work great and his welds are beautifully done. Nice shop project.
Good morning sunshine I love starting my day off with you & MBTS picking at each other I laugh the whole time & I enjoy it sooo much! Much love from Henderson Ga
I love the hilarity of you two in the shop! The one time that I always think of is the dot punch when you were doing the smoke stacks, you two couldn’t stop laughing and neither could I !! Jerry....UK
When we made these years ago (back in the 80s) I would set the two ends tapered an inch or so together, figuring under load it's going to open up, and I'd rather it flex and hold the pipe flat, than flex and the pipe slide off
I think they will use this to lay clay pipe drains. The lower beam slips into the round clay pipe while the top beam gets attached to the excavator to lift the whole thing up, This way DP does not have to clamp the pipes with his bucket and thumb. This jig will also make it easier to stack the pipes in the yard and more guys can do that work because it does not require a lot of skill like bucket and thumb do.
@@silentepsilon888 Thanks. I rewatched the video and that's exactly what Mike said less than 30 sec into the video! I really appreciate the information you shared.🤗
I believe you're going to need a lifting lug at the balance point for inserting and retracting from the pipe. You likely already have that figured out if you been using it already. Great video. Aaron, keep a good battery in that Go-Pro.
I agree with you that having a multiple lifting point is essential for safety and ease of use The system I "like" is a large lifting ring that is captured in a long slot that allows you to estimate /then try /confirm the most appropriate lift point. The upper slot surface is manufactured with continuous sawtooth notches that prevent the ring to slide when under load. Another advantage is the speed of change from lifting an empty frame and then lift the pipe, unhook the pipe - All without a shackle or unhooking
@@KevinHeadlam-Tasmania With using the excavator, or even the skid steer, you could just let the chain slack enough to slide it side-ways to where you need your next lifting point to be. A one person operation could be achieved right from the operators station. No one needed to reset the lifting point.
That was a fun video. I was laughing. When you to get together it's like watching 2 best friends working together. Fun and awesome video. Denis from Santa Rosa CA
My former work "buddies" used to get a kick out of scaring me when I was torching , only their choise was a M80 dropped behind me. One particlur jokester also poured a half cup of 140# gear oil into the manifold pipe of an engine I was performing an overhaul on. The kicker that aded to his dastercly deed was the seriuous sounding loud bang/clunk followed by an abrupt engine shut down(never did figure the noise out. but the smoke sure got a reaction from me!
If Aaron while wearing his bandana would add an eye mask, he could be a twin of Leonardo, the Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtle….lol… We are watching Water and Oil at work..lol 😂🤣😜 Great video Mike. This was a two cups of coffee video that was fun watching.
Thinking ahead, I like it. Being ahead of the game pays off and a rain day in the shop gives you time to sort out a pipe rig. Keep up the good work Guys.
don't get me wrong I love the videos you and the man behind the scenes look like the 3 stooges some times and I sit here and about fall on the floor laughing just love it!!!
You guys remember that show that's Entertainment Earth That's Entertainment live they don't have nothing on you all always in each other's business aren't you that's what makes it so funny keep up the good work
Mike, Chris (Letsdig18) needs one of those for his Thunder Creek, he just bought his and he likes it already! Y’all have had yours for a while now! It seems to have been a wonderful addition to your operation, sure saves money and time for being mobile and can go to whatever job you have going! By the way I love watching y’all fabricate different things in your shop! That’s going to be cool brother, y’all definitely needed that addition to the thunder creek trailer! Looks great Mike and Aaron! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 For those late nights fueling everything for the next day!
Well that was a productive day with heaps of fun. Seeing it in action will be the proof in the pudding. Fun all the way - good to see you have DPs measure MBTS.
I love the fabricating... though I might have put a quick-coupler connection for your 120 or 210 on it and treated it like a bucket... but that's me... Avoid chains when possible...
I made one for my job but I used large reinforced pipe at the top to eliminate any stress on the pipe plus made a large slide across the top ,for adjustment.
Mike some time do you feel like back handing Aaron when he is lipping off?😂😂😂😂 Arron is like a Yappy Chihuahua dog, alway have to make a big noise to compensate for his short comings! 😂😂😂
Another wet day successfully used !! 😁 Pleased to see the lights were carefully moved into position on the trailer, no injuries to report 😂😂 Pipe mover is a substantial build, looking forward to seeing it in use, with at least the same amount of banter between you two 🤣🤣🤣
Linnie and Squiggy at it again better than Abott and Costello ...
Lonnie and squiggly are embarrassed by this comparison 😅
I love the shop days. You two put a smile on my face everytime.
Yep, works for me too,...great coffee time video!
The bantering is hilarious😂
It`s been one of those days boys, thanks for cheering me up....again.👍👍👍👍

OMG I’m laughing my butt off, I about threw my coffee when that mud hit the camera! I about jumped out of my chair 😂that was hilarious

I'm so glad you didn't use the crane :)
I can hardly wait to see this work! 😊

Seen a video recent. You can now get crok lights. Perfect for when you need to see where your feet are.
Gotta see it work now boys.
Watching you two is like watching a long time married couple! You both make me smile. Can't wait to see whatever this is put to use.

2:31 Those white packing foam squares makes great knee pad material. Just lay a strip of it along the floor when installing trim or whatever.
