I greatly dislike the usage of feminine and masculine as it does perpetuate the social constructs of stereotypes of what is traditionally female or male. Why can't we just use the words passive or assertive? Why does it have to be labelled as feminine or masculine as the gender archetypes are not real?
I don't know why no other reader questions this or critically analyze the usage of these terms.
