I live in Southern California as well. Do you find So Cal to be over saturated with RT’s? Wondering if it’s still a good field to pursue living in So Cal or if it’s high competition.
Yesss. Tell me what you would do if the ABG was like this, what would you do to the vent, etc. I have a study guide for new hires about how to pass the exams and how to build your resume and prepare for the interviews :)
Salary or hourly wage is always mentioned before you accept the job. Because if they offer you something too low you always have the option to refuse. It doesn’t happen often for first time RT’s but it’s something that is Always a lil nerve racking to ask about.
Aric Herweck just be yourself, study some basics, show interest in that hospital specifically, if you don’t know something say you don’t know. Most places just want to make sure you’re a right fit for their department, that you won’t do any patient harm, that you’re eager to learn, and that you care about respiratory and patient care.

Is salary and when you will be working mentioned during the first or second interview? Or is this something that happens after you accept.
