Thank u for this tutorial, I have always wanted to make a circle bag something very different, I got the pattern, I will start on it soon after I get my new glasses, but I will follow u very closely, I love your work and u r very good, I'm still learning, thank u
Thank you so much for the tutorial this really helps me out.
Siah, I just want to thank you for this video and to tell you of an IT'S FATE moment. I watched this yesterday and when you spoke of the Singer press that you got on Craig's List, I went to Craig's List in LA and there it was - a Singer heat press for super cheap. Just think, if I hadn't watched your video I wouldn't be picking the heat press up today. SO THANK YOU!!!
Oh gosh that is so awesome!!!
Oh my gosh, print two and tape together. Mega eye roll..you’re genius!!!! Never even thought about that! So helpful as usual, and love the hair!!
🤣😂🤣 I know right?! Thank you!!
I really appreciate the tutorial. I'm new to sewing and this is exactly what I needed in my life. Thank you very much!
This is perfect!!! Thank you so much! You have no idea how helpful this is for me! You're a rockstar!!!!
Oh I’m so glad, you are welcome!!
Thank you for this wonderful video. Very helpful
thankyou Kassiah, love the hair !!
Thank you so much for your videos they are very helpful
You are a brave soul. I would have veered off the pattern pieces and ruler. Resulting in many oppsies!
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve always been too scared to try to fuse decovil to vinyl with an iron after warping vinyls before, but your video made me realize it’s not actually hard. I finally tried again and didn’t melt the vinyl! The whole time I just needed to turn the heat down and press quickly. 😅
Oh I’m so glad!!
Thanks for a great video xx
Thank you for this. Honestly, it was fun to watch because it is the part of sewing anything that I like the least. But I also know the proper prep takes a little more time but makes the sewing so much easier. What is the size of your weights? Great idea and I'd like to get a set. I have a heat press that I've had for over 30 years and finally took it out of storage for interfacing, thank you for that! What a timesaver! Thank you for sharing!
Awe thank you! Not sure the size of my weights off the top of my head, I just found them on Amazon!
Ooh pretty...and the pink in your hair looks real pretty i wish I was dexterous enough to use my rotary cutter...even just round a gentle curve. I'm hopeless. I can only go straight down along a ruler... Lindy ps I got a heat press about a month ago... I LOVE it to bits. Your tips for using it like heating the cotton etc very much appreciated!
I always trim up my interfaced pieces too, means they are more accurate I think
I think I'd be inclined to use the same rotary cutter for the interfacing as the vinyl, I find interfacing really dulls a blade
Благодарю за урок!
Cute
I so enjoy watching your videos. I would love to see the backpack version have you made the backpack version yet?
What kind of heat press do you have and where can I get it?
No I have not, yet. And my heat press was just a used one I bought off of craigslist it is a singer
Where do you get those glass holders for when you cut your fabric?
www.amazon.com/shop/siahswag it is here under tools I use!
I love that new punching tool!!! I purchased a punching die for me rivet press, but it doesn't do the trick for me. Where can we find that new handy dandy punching tool?
The link is in the description under the video 😄
Thank you, Kassiah. I looked under the wrong video. Duh! I’ve ordered it. I hope that was an affiliate link so you can get a few cents.
I mainly use waterproof canvas for my linings. How would binding do with the canvas?
Does great, just be sure you machine can handle the thickness
@@SiahSwag thank you, I have a Juki 1541.
@SiahSwag I have this pattern and my question is when putting the pattern pieces together did u overlap the dotted lines or butted them together? Thanks
I usually butt them together
Such a helpful video , thank you. Questions of course. What setting is heat press on for vinyl ? I was using silk ..still seemed to take the shine away ( coating). Also, your pattern weights. What are they ? Something I could find? Again, thanks for clear informative video :)
I use the silk or wool setting, small amounts of heat at a time with the teflon sheet. Weights were found off of Amazon!!
Can you set desired temp like for instance 350 degrees or so on your heat press?
No it just has settings for cotton, linen etc
if using quilting cotton or cotton lycra and don't have woven fuse 2 should I double up on woven fuse 1?
Yes you could totally do that
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it’s a great help and brings a better understanding of the cutting and interfacing process, cause that is the one thing there can make me fell 20 % dumber than a bag of cotton 😂
Hi I have a mega mat that I believe that is why my blades get dull fast. Any recommendations for mats?
I’m not sure, but I think I am in the market for some new mats as well. Mine is getting pretty old. Sorry I don’t have any I recommend!! I’ll be researching though!
I've really been enjoying your videos! I'm curious, what camera do you use to film?
Just my phone!
@@SiahSwag Wow! I'd have never guessed! Once my shoulder heals, I'd like to start making videos but on clothing. I make bags for fun!
Kassiah, your pattern weights, are they fermentation weights? That’s all I could find on Amazon (.ca) - Thanks, Stephanie
