@@sos5849 Remember as an operator, you have one very important job. It is your hands that have peoples lives at your finger tips. Every day you should look over your machine for anything that may cause a problem that day or be unsafe to operate. Never act like some hotdog thinking you know it all. That is when it will bite you in the ass. Make sure you and your riggers know signals you will be using. Many times you will make a pic you can not see and you must trust you riggers. Know the load chart like the back of your hand. That chart is one of the most critical parts of operating a crane. You must know the weight you are picking, a must. I can go on for hours here but I will stop. One more thing I will say. If the boss or the job manager or whomever ask you to move something or put your rig in any situation you are not comfortable with, DO NOT MAKE THAT pic no matter who tells you to. You are the boss of that rig and your word goes. That is the law. I hope you will have a great time and career as I did. Operating a crane can be a fun job and one of the most important on the job. I worked as a welder in Manitowoc cranes back in 1999-2001. You don't see company like this built in America anymore. Sometime i wonder how the hell all the good jobs and good company they all moved to China or Mexico. Donal Trumps anyone?
This is the new camera lol, I had it set to full time auto focus. From now on it is going to be manual focus. I also did not have the external mic on it so It is entirely my own fault .
Corporate greed will consume all of us soon enough. The unions fought and continue to fight for fair wages. Don't be a hater maybe look into the facts before bad mouthing unions.
