Still hoping they complete the walkways and road works along the Gros Islet highway. But it seems the work has stalled permanently. I don't know if it is a lack of funds or some project issue. Rodney Bay could be a great walking village if pedestrian ways were well maintained.
That beautiful building at 9:48 is no longer. I remember back when it was a really lovely lounge with live music. But it's been demolished. Saint Lucia has a very young population on average. Some of the things Saint Lucia needs are recreational spaces for people ages 16 to 45+. not necessarily centered around alcohol. Bowling alleys, skate parks, amphitheaters for live performances, mini golf, etc. Everything does not have to be a restaurant or bar or nightclub.

It's a 30 minute walk.
