i just found the old SEA DOO videos ...type: 1969 Sea Doo ...and there's another video i just came across that i hadn't seen type: 1960's Bombardier Sea Doo Demo reel .... it's some old footage of a bunch of prototype PWC boating near a marina in canada...best of luck.
iv never seen one of these things before, saw one on craigslist & just had to find some vids on these things. hows the ride diff on these than a wave runner or jet ski?
Now this is what you call a jetski! Mainly because it actually has a ski on the front. The others, like SeaDoo's etc, should be called jetboats, or personal jetboats, because that's just what they are, small boats. The first time I saw one of these was on a James Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me I think it was, and that must have been way back in '77~78! How old is this wetbike, who makes it and what power/performance does it have? Thanks.
if you checkout the 1st Police ACADEMY MOvie, you'll see WET BIKES being used on Lake Ontario .....i think Kawasaki did more marketing with their stand up jet ski's ...but if you search on UA-cam you can find a 67 or mid 60's Bombardier SEA DOO , just like their SKI DOO snowmobiles back then, it's yellow with a black stripe...it's on youtube...i guess Bombardier didn't put the money into it back then...i think Yamaha were the 2nd pwc with their Wave Runners....and i think Honda only have 4 strk
I agree with tjm52071, I love the down lower view. This Wetbike looks like lots of fun. Thanks for sharing it with us. I wonder why they didn't catch on like PWCs did. Do they dump easily do you need to be more skillful?
Polaris, Honda and Arctic cat have all pretty much gone out of business PWC wise. The "new" Hondas you see on sale are usualy 4-6 years old, even they look brand new, it's because they were never opened and taken out of the crate until sale. The parts are hard to find for them, and its expensive. 4 spark plugs for Honda cost around $180. Best to go with Yamaha (ugly), Seadoo or Kawi. Best of luck!
They did catch on, but the company went under for throwing too much money on R&D for their boat and jetski. They are difficult to ride at first, But most people can learn to ride one
hey i use to have a wet bike years ago and i lost it in a fire i have two impellers still for it i remember they were hard to find when i got them. I would sell them to you cheap if yyou want them. Email me and ill give you my number
Love those things, my cousin has had 2 of them. Great to see someone keeping the dream alive. Nice camera set up!
arctic enterprises? is that the same company that makes arctic cat snowmobiles?
Thanks, you too. thoose seadoo's are cool, had a problem with blowing up tho
