Hi, I’m looking for the right ebike for my wife, but we live at the bottom of Glenvale Road (24% slope) in north Ringwood. I need a bike that can conquer this hill and still have enough juice in the battery for a 20k-40k ride. Come and conquer Glenvale Road and help me choose the right ebike.
Hey guys! Just a quick word of advice- Think about shortening your Advertisement. You’ll get way more people watching till the end on a 15 - 30 Second ad rather than a 2 minute ad. Have a great day!
Sanimasdo. Thanks for the advice but it’s not an advertisement it’s just a video of an electric bike going up a very steep hill. Thanks for watching though. 👌👌
@@axisofepicelectricbikers897 What % grade is the hill? my old beat up TEBCO cruiser 2008 is mega gutless, it bogs out and I have to walk up the 10% steep ramp of Shepherds hill RD Belleview Heights Adelaide, coming down that road with a 40Kg box on handle Bars, like a runaway truck due to rear drum brake fade, the bike was doing 50+, worried that the Ayliffes Rd lights would be aginst by the time I got there, they just turned red for 3secs before I blew through the intersection
@@manFromPeterborough According to this video (ua-cam.com/video/OJc_YWBRXSs/v-deo.html), O'Hea Street is a 30% grade. Even walking up the hill is difficult to be honest.
Try Piggy Hill in Ferntree Gully / Boronia goo.gl/maps/zXd4pqdHe9QM7L8R6 or goo.gl/maps/AsjJ6es5kFPgcaNQA east of Blackwood Park Parade... OR.... a little shorter, but a great representation of this bikes capabilities goo.gl/maps/agYaYEW6atnssnKj9

Hi Glenn. Did you ever find a bike to tackle Glenvale Road? We're about to Ringwood North and that hill will be part of our commute.
I ride Terrys avenue Belgrave near daily on my ebike...steepest road hill in Melbourne and maybe the country
MtDandy ok,I must get up there. Thanks for the tip. 👍

This is not the steepest hill in Melbourne
