    It would be the ideal family car for me if the Hybrid version came with a bench 2nd row instead of captain seats. Hopefully, more hybrid variants will be offered in the future.

    For that price, I'd go with the older diesel model. Innova's are known people movers inspite the MPV badge. We owned once before (2006 E M/T diesel) and was realiable as ever. But nonetheless, this was a good review from autoindustriya. Keep it up!

      Well, it still is an Innova. That's my guess, and still having the old, lower variants of the diesel Innova won't really make the Zenix V a base model if my understanding is correct.

    • @KuchingKingVideoGamer
      @KuchingKingVideoGamer 5 місяців тому

      Unlikely they'll use the engine of the Corolla Cross Hybrid on the Zenix.
      Toyota won't make the Zenix a Hybrid vehicle only as it'll make it more expensive.
      Best selling variant of the Zenix in Indonesian market is actually the non Hybrid 2 liter gasoline engine powered ones.

    • @deathbyxenon6082
      @deathbyxenon6082 5 місяців тому +1

      @@KuchingKingVideoGamer you'll never know what toyota will do to make sales. Remember that they released the Vios XE variant at the time when the segment of top spec variants of small hatchbacks were at that prices are suddenly gobbled up by that variant. What's stopping them from transplanting the 1.8 liter 2zr-xfe in the zenix and creating lower variants of the zenix from that engine? I bet they could make a G, E , and XE variant for that engine. That hybrid power train is now on its fifth generation and is now tried and tested unlike on the top Q variant.
      As much as people say they want the body on frame innova, everybody knows that its ladder frame chassis and diesel engine is on borrowed time.

    Okay sana if the hybrid version is just kahit 2.0m, not 2.3m. Then at least have 2nd row bench seats to make it cheaper. Hybrids are enticing if they are priced right.I mean, look at the Kicks and, though mild, the Okavango. I'll understand if it's a Rav4 Hybrid because of the CR-V's price din, pero this is supposed to be a people mover first.

    • @rondg2
      @rondg2 5 місяців тому

      @unknownd7409 5 місяців тому +1

      I think the less vibration here meant the very high frequency tire vibrations which causes road noise, not necessarily the body movement of the car. In terms of body movement and overall ride comfort, the unibody will be much better but the ladder frame with its rubber cushions will serve as an extra layer that absorbs these types of vibration slightly better. However, unibodies can easily engineer this out with more deadening.

    • @unknownd7409
      @unknownd7409 5 місяців тому

      And usually, these vibrations are masked by the engine vibration anyways so there's not a big difference between ladder frame and unibody in this aspect.

    No thanks. Will keep our 2017 Innova E 2.8 AT. I would not touch a CVT in any car as they are still prone to premature failure, especially if not serviced regularly. A normal AT is much more durable. No diesel option is a big step backwards. Front Wheel Drive may give more interior room for the same footprint but I prefer Rear Wheel Drive. The old Innova, being based on the Two Wheel Drive HiLux platform gives more ground clearance. This is highly desirable on some of the roads here in Cavite. This one appears to be only a 7 seater (even if it supposedly has more interior room), whereas ours is an 8 seater. If we decide to change cars in a few years time, a diesel Fortuner or HiLux dual cab would be at the top of our shopping list.

      Ang ibig Kong sabihin 2.0 turbo lang, walang hybrid. More horses and torque. Mas exciting yon to drive, some people they don't care about the price of fuel. Imagine 4.4 liter V8 and twin TURBO, 530 bhp and 553 pound feet of tirque thats equivalent to more than 700 Newton meter. They like it and satisfied the way they drive it. Fuel is not issue it's the fun and power that matter to them.
