    As a sufferer of body dysmorphia, girl! I felt this. My BD is so bad, I’ll see a physique picture of myself thinking it’s someone else (long story) and think WOW, her body is amazing, I want THAT body. But as soon as I realize it’s me, I see everything I hate and I think it’s a terrible body. I wish there was a cure for this but at the same time, it keeps me crazy humble. I know it doesn’t matter much bc we are so critical of ourselves but you are ZERO PERCENT too bulky anywhere on your body! You are actually very proportionate and symmetrical from what can see. And I agree that you can still work your lower body and look amazing! I’m also going to take the advice and stop studying my body. I’m entering a body transformation challenge from the perspective of strength and improvement not aesthetics to see where I end up.

    I have to remind my mom not to commment on my preteen daughter's body at least 3 times a year. I am committed to raising girls who focus on what they can do and eating more healthy food instead of how they look and eating less. As I am dieting for prep, I explain I have to get very lean to show my muscles and after that I will be back to normal because dieting sucks. I tell all the kids to get strong so they can be badass old ladies.

    Performance > aesthetics. The appealing looking body should be a byproduct, not the focus. Otherwise you'll get consumed with it. No way for this José.
    I'm ok with not looking like a golden era body builders, and my girls are thankful for such. I look like a warrior, being an explosive athletic warrior that loves training Strongman
