Really cool. It always sounds better in the studio, but this let you know that the band really had the kernel of that song down solid. Amazing guitar riff
@@frankdagostino8588 It was first written in 1991 but they felt it wouldn’t be a top song, so they left it behind, and then in 1995 they decided to release it. I believe that’s what I remember about this song.
Sorry.... Of all the songs this is too candy for me. I was the thumbs down. But thank you for the year of great surprise videos! I really enjoy this. If you can find a live "It doesn't feel like Christmas," you would be my hero. I love that song around this time. Means so much to me as I spend years and years working in Colorado during Christmas and wasn't home with my family and husband.... I went through boxes of tissues listening to that. Cheers!
The videos we load aren't simply about the song or the eye candy. We're trying to upload videos that capture a moment from the past; it might be a unusual performance of a song or something that was rarely played live or maybe a unique demo or an early version of a song. This video shows "Good Intentions" as it existed when the band was first playing the song. It was years before it saw the light of day again. The performance shows the band playing the tune before fear had been released...before they'd had any chart success..before an audience in their hometown. We'd like to believe those qualities make this video "thumbs up" territory as you'd need a DeLorean and Doc Brown to see "Good Intentions" played in this way!
@Rob Holloway it's not the end of the world... I constantly praise them for their work, and I am far from a fair weather fan of this channel or the band. Lighten up people... It's Christmas
ComeBackDownload Yeah man, I was thinking it’s like I have a time machine gadget. Glens eyes look like he has a buzz on. Excellent camera angles, pan to the bass at the right time. Would’ve enjoyed a quick jump on stage for a behind the set angle. If you ever want me to capture a behind the set angle in Milwaukee, hit me up. Tight jam guys!
Back when indie rock "alternative" was fresh! Toad has been around since 1986. Hats off
I miss those days
Most excellent song 😊❤️👏
My day just got brighter 😁

@@frankdagostino8588 you’re welcome ❤️
Pena que bandas como esta não existem mais
The drummer looks like he has a CPA license and does some tax work as a side gig...
if you don't even know his name then you don't need to be commenting here because this is a space for toad fans
