  • This colorful and vibrant city is only ~45 minutes of drive away from lake Balaton with stunning architecture and rich history. If you choose to have a vacation at Balaton, it's a nice place to visit for lunch or dinner. As the administrative city of Somogy County in the Southern Transdanubian region, it's a popular city with many attractions. The older alternative name of the city is Ruppertsburg. The population is around 64.2K, so it has a calm, quiet and friendly atmosphere, which allows you to connect on a deeper level with the city, while you are there. Enjoy!

      I totally agree! Most of the county towns and big cities in the Transdanubian region of Hungary has a similar feeling 🙂

      Thank you for your comment! If you'll be in Hungary, I can recommend visiting multiple cities, but it depends on the length of your travel 🙂

    I think this an early time recording in the morning, normally its pretty crowded here.

      I recorded the video on a Sunday evening (6:36PM), maybe because of the week they didn't spend too much time outdoors. We spent a few days in Kaposvár and yes, it was quite crowded 🙂

    living expenses could you say how much ?

    • @CinematicXplorer
      @CinematicXplorer  2 роки тому +1

      I'd say, a one bedroom okay-ish flat is around 90K-120K forint/month ($280-370), bills around $60/month, or a decent one is for $450 and above in the centre. It depends on the lifestyle, you're looking for. If you'd choose the groceries+cooking option, it's quite affordable, around $120/month, but if you go out to restaurants or order food delivery, it can be much higher. In almost all larger Hungarian cities the gigabit internet network is available for around $10-15/month. If you're thinking about a car, the gas prices are not the best, $5,6/gallon at the moment. Kaposvár is in the below $1K/month category. If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer.
