I love love love Liquid Glass for protecting my outside upcycled plastic objects, like bird feeders! It protects from sun, snow, rain! There is a nice sheen, my upcycled objects have lots of texture and so far a 3 yr old bird house still can be washed off with plain water and soft brush! The colors still pretty!
I’m so excited I found this video…your first using liquid glass for adding glass and glitter! I purchased some from TriArt awhile ago, but it got put aside 😞 I just got a couple of squeeze bottles and want to do something with my beads and crystals (I no longer do my bead weaving so want to carefully use my supplies to make a few art pieces). Love your videos! 💋💋 a neighbor across Lake Ontario.
Both projects are absolutely beautiful!!! You stated that you were a bit disappointed bc the first ome7lost it's shine after you dealer it with the Mod Podge, but the reason that happened is bc u used the one that has a "satin" finish (yellow label). Moving forward if you want to maintain the shine to your project , you can do so by using the "gloss " finish mod podge with the red label.
Love both. Appreciate your change up from resin.Imleary of using resin, desire purchasing quite a bit of it. It still looks blingy even with the Mod Podge! and the Liquid Glass one looks awesome, there is a product here in US made by Deco Art called clear pouring Topcoat that creates a shiny finish it self levels, i'm going to experiment with it and i hope it works since i'm asthmatic and can't use resin anymore! I love that you video your experiments, gives me more ideas! thanks for keeping up with the videos! i know how you feel about having to do all the work yourself but that keeps us moving! Take care!
I have always called it "modge podge" haha and I am probably too old to mend my ways now.... definitely try the gloss variety so it retains the shine and sparkle of your piece!! This is super cute! :)

I never seal my acrylic paintings and I've never had an issue. I have 2 that I've had for over 10 years now and they still look great. I just thought I'd share for those wondering how acrylic paint holds up. Keep creating beautiful art. ❤
Omgosh. It turned out so pretty!! I love the S curvey shape. And you should have crystal resin the other one. See how it would have turned out?? Love your bling videos!! 💗
Thanks so much and thanks for watching. Yes I was experimenting on how to do the blings without resin because I'm teaching some classes and didn't want to have to deal with resin lol But I could do a video on putting a coat over a bling bling painting. 😍😍😍🇨🇦
I loved seeing the new Bling. Gave me an idea for a gift for my best friend that just got married. The Bling that you sprayed and wasn't as shiny as before. I don't know if it makes any difference but i did see that the finish on it said Satin. Iv'e used paints in different craft projects in the past and used satin, gloss and matte. Each obviously leave a different effect so i wonder if they do a Mod Podge spray that had a gloss finish and that you may get the shiny result that you had in the beginning. Just a thought. Take care Sherry. Stay well. Shirley.X
I love your design with the liquid glass. It gave me all kinds of ideas!! I haven't even got through the video yet lol but if it works out you could try dif symbols or designs for instance a music symbol...if that makes sense. Or even lettering for customized work. Idk you always inspire me!!!
Love the silver with liquid glass, that's really pretty. Perhaps if you sealed the painting with a gloss sealer before adding the bling, it might keep it's shine better.?
So pretty Sherry. Love it. I have that liquid glass. I don't want to do the 2 part resin. But the liquid glass and also Karen from Waterfall Acrylics talked about and uses Brite Tone that you brush on. It has so many great qualities. I purchased it and it is wonderful. Hello, I enjoyed your video so much! During your your reveal, as you showed your work and spoke of the process and products, you held up the MOD PODGE ACRYLIC SEALER. The reason your work was not shiny as you had desired is because the sealer you used is a SATIN sealer. It is not meant to be shiny or glossy (as I am sure you already know.) Innocent and very common mistake! You are simply delightful and I will continue to enjoy your knowledge, talent, dedication, and tenacity.
Sherry, your hair colors look fabulous on you!! Did you see that the Mod Podge sealant said “satin” finish? Maybe that’s why it wasn’t as shiny as you hoped. I appreciate the tip that spray paint already has a sealant in it.
